Lyn Hall's POV - 24 / 06 / 2014 : Beacon Hills
"What the hell is happening to this kid?" I awoke breathing heavily, my clammy hands connecting with the floor as I fell from the chairs. My chest heaved, feeling as though my lungs were being squeezed. I watched horrified as my wrist broke, the bone creating a very large and very noticeable lump on the back of my head. I gasped, my mouth agape, as I took heavy breaths to steady myself. My fingers pressing onto the bone to forcefully push it back into place.
"He's been poisoned by a rare wolfsbane. I need to make an incision and you need to hold him as still as possible." Deaton said urgently, as I grasped my aching arm in my hand.
"Hey, Derek, how about a little werewolf strength?" Stiles said, as he gripped Brett's shoulders. I winced squeezing my eyes shut, as I gripped the chair the wood splintering as it broke before me.
"Yeah, I'm not the only one here with werewolf strength." My navy blue eyes flickered to Derek's as my breath evened out.
"If you can't hold him still, the incision might kill him." Deaton warned as he too stood besides Brett's side. Brett began to thrash around, his eyes closed as sweat dribbled down his face. Forgetting the pain I ran to where his head rested, my palms cooling down as they pressed against his heated cheeks. He calmed down as Deaton moved to slice his flesh.
Brett's eyes began to move behind his closed eyelids, his body moving once again as Stiles struggled to hold him down. "Shh Brett, calm down, I'm here, remember when we first met in kindergarten, you threw your toy truck at me, because I had tipped my juice box over your precious hair." I giggled quietly, as Brett's thrashing ceased slightly, "When we first made the promise, are promise neither you or I have ever broken."
"Derek, he's slipping. I don't think I can hold him." Stiles yelled, as Brett suddenly shot up his eyes gleaming a vibrant gold as his fist connected with Stiles. Peter appeared where Stiles had once stood and held fast. Preventing Brett from moving.
"I guess I still have a little werewolf strength myself." Peter said cockily, as I scrutinised the conniving werewolf.
"Yeah, maybe more than a little." Derek muttered, as Brett stopped moving completely a thick cloud of wolfsbane escaping through the wound on Brett's muscular chest.
"Hey, Doc, I don't think he's breathing. Is he okay?" Stiles asked as he held his face.
"I think he'll be fine, but probably out for a while." I frowned, as I moved a stray piece of hair from his face.
"Guys, can you hear that? I think he's saying something." Stiles said hurriedly as he and the rest leaned in closer.
"The sun... The moon...The truth...The sun...The moon... The truth..." Brett whispered as I released a long breath.
"Three things cannot long be hidden. The sun, the moon, and the truth. It's Buddhist." Deaton said in realisation as Peter scowled, "Satomi."
"Oh hell no!" I exclaimed, my hands leaving Brett's face as I threw them up in utter disbelief.
"You know her?" Derek asked, his gaze lingering on me making me feel those familiar uncertain feelings.
