I- Volleyball Is The Light

Dark...

Everything is dark in Kageyamas mind. Everything disappeard... What was happening? It was so dark that he couldn't even think of anything. Not that it was something new for Kageyama not to think about anything...

But this time was different...

Anything nor anyone could reach his mind... Everything was dark... Ah... With excepcion of Voleyball... "Voleyball... Is the light" the only thing Kageyama could think right now.

He's changed now.. He barely speaks, he barely eats, he barely sleeps. When he sleeps he have nightmares where appears a creature with dark black skin, white hair, a long beard and with two demon horns. The guy smirks, touching his skin with his tiny finger, drawing the route of a tear.. Then he just goes away and Kageyamas mind becomes even darker.

Everyone in the Volleyball club barely noticed because his skills did not change. Well, almost everyone... Hinata was the closest person to Kageyama, spending most of his day with him, so the orange haired number 10 understood that something was wrong right after the first night that Kageyama had that dream. But Hinata never touched the topic, thinking that he would come back to normal after a few days. Maybe he was sick.

"This is getting worse..."

The orange haired spiker noticed that the situation wasn't changed. He could feel it even while playing. Now Kageyama tosses was like water. Hinata needed it to survive but it had no colour, it had no taste... Even though it was weird, after all the tosses haven't changed at all. But still how could the small player ignore this?

Hinata decided to talk with "bakageyama" after school and pratice. Maybe he had something bothering him. Oh, i forgit to mention.. Suga-san also had noticed that something was wrong with Tobio but he left it to Hinata. He knew that Tobio would hear Hinata better than hear him...

After pratice Hinata and Kageyama were heading home. Kageyama, always in silence, started to walk with Hinata by his side. The spiker couldn't stop glaring at him, he was worried, evdn if it was hard to admit it...

"I want some meat buns!! Lets buy some!!" Number 10 said, trying to sound natural.

Kageyama just nodded and they went to get the meat buns. Hinata gave one to his partner but he knew kags wouldnt eat it... Then after get some confidence he started to spoke

"Hmm... You know.... Are you alright??"

Number 9 looked at Hinata with a slightly confused look.

"You know... You're acting different... And... Yeah i kinda want to know about it.. Not that im worried! Are you sick, or maybe you got dumped?? What happened??"

Kageyama looked at him with empty cold eyes. At first it scared the spiker... But some water was appearing in Tobios eyes even without he notice. His expression started to change, he started to tremble... Hinata became even more worried. He never saw his partener like that!! Number 9 was crying really hard, sobbing, trying to stop the tears in his eyes with his big hands.

The short spiker was shocked... Now he was sure that something happened... He couldn't do anything at all so he just decided to hug Kageyama tightly.

"C-calm down ok?? I don't know what happened but you're scaring me!! Stop crying bakageyama!" Hinata said with a soft blush. He was trying his best to give him a proper hug. He was a bit smaller than Kags after all...
The tears stopped for a moment. He hugged number 10 tightly, lending a bit down, placing his head in Hinatas shoulder and went to cry again. Hinata could feel his body trembling and the hot tears in his shoulder. He was happy he could see this side of Tobio. And that he could give him some support. He was happy.

After a some time of sobbing and sniffing Kageyama slowly got out of that warm hug and cleaned his face with his hands. The setter looked at the orange haired boy and with a small smile he started to spoke

"Thank you, dumbass.." Seeing Kags reaction made Hinata even happier.

They kept on walking. Kageyama finnally started to eat his meat bun. Number 10 was confused though. He didn't know what happened with Tobio after all... But maybe he didn't want to talk about it... Hinata decided to ignore it for now. They parted ways, both of them smilling

Poor Kageyama...

He didn't know about the night that would change that smile...
