I said goodbye to Juliet and Sarah and headed to my first period class, Spanish. While we were being assigned to our seats, I noticed a cute blonde guy on the other side of the room laughing and smiling with a few of his friends. "I really hope that I will have the chance to get to know him," I thought to myself as my teacher directed me to my seat.
"Hey, I'm Spencer." someone said behind me. I turned around and was surprised to see the cute blonde guy sitting behind me and offering his hand. "Oh! Hello! I'm Leah." I said as I shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you." I smiled while looking into his beautiful blue eyes. "It's nice to meet you too." he smiled back at me.
"Okay class!" My Spanish teacher said. "My name is Mrs. Duran uand I am so very excited to get to know all of you and teach you all about the amazing language of Spanish. I hope that we can all have a great year together!" "Wow, she seems pretty nice, don't you think?" I asked Spencer. "Yeah, she's way nicer than my last Spanish teacher." he replied.
*After Class*
"Hey Leah!" Spencer called behind me. "Yeah?" I asked while turning around. "We should hang out sometime!" he said. "That would be so awesome! Here's my number!" I exclaimed excitedly. "Okay! Cool! Here's mine." he replied happily. "See ya around!" he said, walking away. "Bye!" I replied. "This is going to be the best year of my life!" I thought to myself while walking to my next class.
