At the end, all of them stayed up which was unnecessary. “So, what did you do all of this time?” asked an exited Zack, who had made it clear that he would not move away from your side.

What else could you do? Laugh, it was fresh to see someone so carefree, so happy even when things were getting worse. “Actually, nothing that you haven’t done. Searching for supplies and survivors, which I didn’t find until a few days ago.”

Still, Zack did not stop smiling until you mentioned that you hadn’t found any survivors.”You mean, you have been alone for all this time? That must have been very depressing.” he asked quite upset about thinking of you being alone with no company.

“Yes, finding someone these days is almost impossible and if you do in case find someone, we  beter be careful or else.” Hunger, desperation could do a lot to people and without hesitation, they will surely kill anyone without caring about anything at all.

To this, they didn’t seem surprised about what you’re said. It was apparent that they too knew all of this.”Yeah, true.”

Most of the males remained silent while Zack kept talking until Shikamaru-who looked as if he would fall asleep any minute-, asked something that some of the group had asked already. “What is the plan then?”

It took you a few minutes to think about the plan, sure you thought of finding the rest of your friends and then rescuing them but what happens after that? Your group was large and to find supplies to support such a large group would take a very large amount of effort to keep the group together, but you supposed that wouldn’t be much of a problem since they could defend themselves.”Well, as for the plan...First find them, then get them out as soon as possible as we can. After they are safe and sound, search for more supplies...although...” you trailed off to think of a good place that could be used to maintain the whole group.”I know the city cannot be inhabited anymore, not for longer periods since most of the food and water has been taken by those who survived, growing our own food here is not possible either. So, it is inevitable to keep moving, as of where that is uncertain. Rain doesn’t occur here, I think that the places where it rains could be great choices but we need to find out that, and it might take long for that to happen.”

They pondered on your plan, but the downside of the plan was quite  obvious, if you were wrong the well being of the group would be in the line but then again, staying in a city would not save them either.”It’s better than nothing. There are not that many options, either way we will have to keep moving no matter the plans.” Now, it was Itachi who spoke.

Nodding, it made you feel a bit more relieved now. If your plan worked then perhaps you could all start anew but there was something you needed to finish before that happened, it had to be done, no exceptions.”Yeah, we should go to sleep there’s not much that we can do, we’ll need the rest.” You offered, sure you all had agreed that you should guard this place but since most of them were awake, it would be difficult to keep their minds clear when danger came if they didn’t rest.

They nodded and in the small space, they made their own bed. You on the other hand, found the wall quite comfortable, so you slid down the wall and rested your head there. Within minutes, you fell asleep without noticing the content smiles the males wore before they too went to sleep.

As usual, you woke up early and even if the sunlight was not visible, it was like your brain knew exactly at what time to wake up. You yawn and stretched your arms above your head, once you did so, you noticed the sleeping form of Zack only a few feet away, Shikamaru was also asleep. Gaara,Sephiroth,Itachi,Noctis and Sasuke were wide awake, yet they didn’t seem to be in any sort of conversation.
