You wait behind Liam as your boyfriend loads your suitcase onto the security belt at the check-in desk of the airport. He turns after having his passport stamped, long arm wrapping your shoulders to lead you towards the security checkpoint. Leaning back against his chest, you watch the line slowly making its way through the metal detector. Liam steadies you with a strong hand to your lower back as you remove your shoes and place them in the basket. After the two of you successfully make it through security, you make your way through Heathrow towards your terminal. You're sending another text to your mom before sliding phone into your purse when a couple young girls rush up to Liam. "Oh my gosh, you're Liam Payne! Can we get a picture!?" they ask excitedly, pushing their camera into their mother's hands. "Sure girls" he says with a smile, turning his head to see you standing a few steps away from him. "Just you" one of them says snidely, glaring at you. Your cheeks tinge pink as you grip your purse to your chest and begin to step further away. Liam's gentle hand grips the edge of your navy, drop hem tunic until you're close enough for him to wrap his arm around your slim waist. You look up to see him smiling down at you as he pulls you against his side, the two girls silently scoffing because now only one of them can stand beside him. Liam thanks them with a kind smile, taking your hand in his to lead you towards your terminal. As you walk away, you hear their mother scolding them for how rude they were and Liam chuckles beside you, pressing a kiss to your temple as you make your way towards the terminal that will lead you towards your much-needed holiday.
