Allison's POV

I look up to see a man, a crooked grin stretched across his face. I subtly inhale through my nose and pick up his scent.

Vampire.

Which means it definitely is Hugo ransacking this building.

"What, got no words sugar? I'm sure you know what I am, and who I work for. Let's cut to the chase yeah?"

I smirk and shake my head softly whilst getting to my feet. "You honestly have no idea what I am do you, sugar."

He visibly gulps before looking back out the door. I smile to myself and tilt my head. "Let me guess, all your friends are on the floor above us, and you were left behind because, oh I don't know. A snack perhaps?"

He laughs and rubs his closely shaved head. "Huh, you use your freaky super hearing? You a freak huh?" He sneers at me, an attempt to anger me.

I sigh, looking at my invisible watch. "Well, I'd love to stay and chat, but I tend to get violent in the same room as assholes. So buh-bye."

As I make a move to go around him he bares his fangs at me and throws his arm out in front of me. "You're not going anywhere freak."

I grab his arm and twist it before pulling him towards me. I bring my knee up to his groin and slam into him. I finish the job by snapping his neck, his body crumpling to the ground. Looking over the railing I judge the distance before swinging my legs over the top. I land hard on the ground floor, the impact jarring my knees and ankles.

"Argh, holy cheese balls." I wince in pain as I begin a slow shamble to the emergency exit door. Opening the door tripped the alarm, the shrill bell alerting Hugo's leeches of my whereabouts.

"Shit, crap, crabby patties!" I murmur to myself, checking to my left and right for any people. I start a sprint to my right, dodging the few people already awake this early in the morning. Most were out for a jog with a few headed to work. I ran even harder, trying to put as much distance between the hotel and myself as possible.

I managed to catch my breath in a corner store about 5 blocks away from the hotel. Inside I grabbed a few necessary items, such as water, packaged food and a pair of sunglasses. Next stop was the small boutique next door, where I grabbed a black top and jean shorts from a rack and threw them on the counter. I paid for the items and changed into them in the nearest public stalls.

"Ok, next step - find Ky." I said to myself, walking down the busy streets of the city. I let my blonde hair down, my hair ties all forgotten back in the apartment I rented. Now, if I was a 300 year old vampire, where would I be on a Saturday morning?
