She's sitting at the corner of the room looking pale and bored as usual. After classes I always find her gone, and sometimes I always find her eating alone. She has no friends but, it seemed normal for her. She always carry a guitar all though she doesn't play it at all... Some people think that it's just style.
But I think they're wrong...
One day, I decided to seek the truth. I got the moment I've been waiting for, we accidentally met at the back of our school's building... And I spoke, "do you know how to play that guitar?" While looking at her face... Pale and bored as usual, "No," she said then walk by me.
That's it? I don't know...
It's been a month since that happened and I didn't get the chance to talk to her again... She's avoiding me all day, no... She's avoiding everyone all day. It was already late and I have to go home soon. I walk pass through our guidance that is near our kindergarten playground... No one was around... Except for one little girl, her hair was cleanly tied up with a red ribbon.
She was smiling as if talking to someone, "can you pway that gwuitwar?" She said while confronting someone sitting at the little house blocking my way... I moved a little further to see who she was with... As usual, seeing a pale and bored face like that, I knew it was her but, she's different now... She was smiling.
My heart skipped a beat.
I was moved to see her smile, she was beautiful... Not as pale and bored. She was smiling towards that young child and patted her head and said, "I can play it if you want." And I was in total shock... She said she can't play! Was that a lie after all? How could she lie?
There must be a good reason why she had to lie...
"I'm going to play a song that mean so much to me... A song named 'Ai Kotoba' by shouneT"
Then she start playing a Japanese song... That I once heard... By a certain someone... I forgot.
When she finished playing the young child clapped her hands and said, "your were soooo gwood! I lwike your voice! Who taught you to pway?" The young girl asked with excitement and she smiled and said, "a certain someone that forgot about me... We were still young when he taught me... He was so good at playing the guitar... So I asked him to teach me to play..." Her face began to darken.
A certain someone?
The young girl held her face and lift it up to hers, "What happened?" The young girl asked, "I heard he got an Car accident and lost his memories and he's parents said that it was best for me to stay away from him for years... It's maybe dangerous for him to remember things... Something might happen..." She said and began to cry, "I guess it's for the best to avoid him, right?" She said while wiping her tears...
