"His name is Jake by the way!" I yell after her.

I'm sitting on the couch writing my homework, when my phone starts ringing.

'Annoying Guy' flashes on the screen.

I pick up the phone.

"Hello?" I say slowly, unsure.

"Hi Scarlett!" A familiar voice says.

"Hi Alex!" I sigh of relief.

"Who did you think I was?" Alex asks, confused.

"I didn't know who you were going to be, because you are called 'Annoying Guy' in my phone. I need to change it, what should I call it?"

"Alex Bear!" Alex excitedly squeals.

"No, how about Lexie?" I hold my laughter. While I hear Alex gagging.

"Fine then...... how about..... Alex?" I try.

"No, too boring."

"Xander."

"Sounds too weird..."

"Then what?"

"I told you, Alex Bear."

"Fine. Only if it will shut you up."

"Yay!" He squeals.

"Why did you call me anyway?" I ask.

"The science project... DUH!"

"Dammit... I forgot...."

"What do you want to do?"

"How about making an exploding volcano?" I ask.

"No, I did that last year."

"Then what?"

"What about making a.... ANT FARM!" He practically shouts.

"OK."

After a minute of silence...

"So..... should I hang up now?" Alex asks.

"Yeah...." I wait for him to hang up.

"Hello?" Alex says after 5 seconds.

"I was waiting for you to hang up!" I laugh.

"Same here!" Alex laughs with me.

"Ok then... we both hang up after 3...2...1!"

I hang up, laughing.

The next day I walk to school wearing neon colours. Neon yellow pleated lace top with neon blue tights and neon blue strappy stiletto sandal with a neon pink sole and a neon green heel. My hair is a bit wavy. I have on neon pink triangle drop earrings, neon orange and pink necklace and a neon orange watch. (A/N Clothes in the comment labeled 1)
