Queen Rachel escorted her daughters as they walked back to their respective rooms.

"Quite handsome young men, do you ladies think?" Queen Rachel said.

Several "yes mother"s came from them as they entered into their rooms to turn in for the night.

About thrity minutes later, Faye entered Alice's room. "So," she said. "What did you think of Luke?"

Alice was quite taken aback by this. "What?"

"You heard me. What did you think of Luke?" Faye said, closing the door and taking a few steps further into the room.

Alice smiled, "He was nice and charming, but...,"

"But?" Faye prompted.

Alice scrunched up her face in thought. "I don't know. His mind just seemed to be elsewhere. Alright, what did you think of Edmund?"

"Oh he was just lovely!" she exclaimed. "He's such a gentleman."

"What about the other princes?" Alice asked.

"Oh Nora is just enchanted by Oliver. They're going to be lovely," Faye stated. "Marie and Daisy's match, George and William are nice, they say. Daisy said that she just wants to get to know him better, which is reasonable."

"Good," Alice said as Faye continued.

"And Tessa pretty much thinks the same way about Charlie and Piper thinks that Jack is very sweet and kindhearted which is good because I was a little worried about her," Faye concluded.

"That's good," Alice said again. "It's just crazy how much things have changed all within the last twenty four hours."

"You're telling me," Faye laughed. "Well, good night."

"Good night, Faye," Alice said just before she left the room.

As she lay in bed she was thinking of Luke. He was really nice, but Alice couldn't figure out what was strange about him. Maybe it was her. Maybe it was just she who didn't want to marry Luke. Eventually she gave up trying to decipher her feelings and fell asleep.
