Jaydens POV
The last painful minutes of class ticked by before the Bell rang through the old speakers echoing through the school. I walked down the crowded hallway before getting my books from my locker and beginning to walk home. I was at the corner between an old convenient store and the bakery. I stopped to check my phone as It buzzed furiously. I smirked as I scrolled through the new posts on tumblr. ''Ugh marry me.'' I sighed as I scrolled through the countless pictures of my fandoms. God I'm such trash. I was then suddenly interrupted by A man in a Trench coat looking at me with confusion.
''Hey!'' He called out before walking closer to me.
Frick. I had no knife or anything to protect me. My breathing quickened before sliding back against the wall. Oh well, It had to happen eventually I suppose.
He paused a moment before scratching his slight stubble.
I then quickly began to run for my life, curse my slow metabolism and non athletic ability's.
I backed up against a wall and peered around a corner, I did not see him. Had I lost him?
I breathed a sigh of relief, followed by a shriek of terror as I felt muscular hands pinning my shoulders to the wall behind me.
''Don't kill me, honestly I don't have anything you want, I'm broke!'' I panicked at a last attempt.
He tilted his head in confusion, no anger on his face, just calmness. ''Relax, I don't wanna hurt you.'' He said his blue eyes staring back into mine.
I started blankly at him.
''Jayden green right?''
Yeah, that was me, but I couldn't get the words out. I was focused on his eyes. They were the type of blue you read about in Fanficiton, not like I would know I mean hah I've like totally never read fan fiction before. That thought made me laugh...out loud.
His soft face tilted slowly. ''You are Jayden green right?''
''Uh, Yes, Yeah, that's me.'' I said snapping back to reality. Oops.
He sighed in relief. ''Do you mind coming with me?'' He asked.
Seriously what the frick was this guys issue, I looked at his hands that were pinning my shoulder onto the brick wall, then back at him.
''Oh, yes, sorry.'' He said letting go.
''Why the hell would I go with you?'' I asked before glancing my phone making sure it hadn't cracked when I hit the wall.
''Would you like the truth now or later?'' He sighed running his hands through his short brown hair.
''what?'' This guy was insane...
''Now or later?'' He repeated.
''Now?'' I said playing along with the game, or whatever this was.
''Your a prophet, and It's my job to protect you.''
Yep. This man has lost ALL his marbles. ''Excuse me?''
''You are a prophet of god. It is my duty to protect you.''
''All I do is sit scrolling through the internet all day listening to music and eating mass amounts of junk food. I am no prophet.'' I objected.
He pulled out a paper with a list of names on it and pointed to a picture with my name on it and next to it a picture of me.
''How the hell did you get that.'' I questioned him. Why am I not running for my life?
