Chapter 45;

I opened my eyes looking at faces surrounding me. What is going on. I blinked twice finally hearing them call for me.

I looked at my pack as I kept blinking . Where is Vikki?

I tried coughing as I coughed. Someone came over with water as I drank it and sighed.

"What happened?" I asked.

Violet came over.
"You have been in a coma for almost a month. We tried everything to get you back but as you can see the witches are off the grid"

"How am I back? Where is Vikki?" I said.

Violet looked everyone else as I started to get nervous.

"I should explain." Faith said walking over with Johnny.

My heart sank at the sight of her as I couldn't even look at her.
"Where is my mate." I whispered.

I sniffed and smelled her she was.. Next to me?

I tuned my head as my stomach completely dropped. I sat up seeing her motionless body on the bed next to me. I got wobbly and fell to my knee's.
Jason helped me up as I pushed him of me.

I crawled to her and grabbed her hand. Her heart was settle as she was asleep?

"What happened!" I yelled at them.

"She took the curse out of you and put it in her self. We helped-

"Why would you do that! Why!" I yelled at her.

"She wanted it.. We told her the price of it. But she said you'll figure it out and fix your problems."
Tears slipped from my eyes.

"Give us a minute."

"Melissa-

"I said give us a minute!" I yelled.

One by one they all left as I opened my eyes and looked at her. I placed my thumb on her cheek. Han moved it to her head as I closed my eyes getting into her head.

But Vikki was shutting me out, she didn't want me in her head not communicating with her.
I screamed sitting up letting go of her.

"WHY!!" I screamed throwing shit.

Arms wrapped around me as I dropped to the floor and cried. Jason held me close as I screamed and cried. My pack put there hands on my shoulders for support .

Johnny and Faith were there as I stood up shaking Jason off me. He held my arm not trusting me.

"Put it back in me." I told her.

"I can't.. I used up all my-

"I don't care! Just put it back in me!" I screamed in her face.

She shut her eyes as Johnny literally pushed me back. I growled loudly and grabbed his throat.

"Woah woah!" Jason said . "Melissa don't."

"This isn't you." Amy said.

"I will do anything for her.. Even if I have to kill someone to get her back. Stay out my way or I will so hope me god kill you." I warned him walking off.

I walked out the infirmary and to the hall way, I grabbed a bag and started packing. I packed Vikki's clothes as o wanted to wear them for her scent . Sighing as I stopped .

"We're are you going." Donny and Fred stood there.

"I am gonna kill every witch until I get her back. Don't try and stop me." I warned.

"Wasn't planning on it." Fred said coming into the room.

"You will need help though, and we are willing."

"I don't think-

"We weren't asking do don't try and stop us." Donny mocked my words.

I smirked and shook my head. I looked at them and nodded.

"Good were coming too." Jason and Lark came in.

"Guys." I smiled .

"She is my Alpha, atleast I can do it hunt some witches down and get some answers ."

"We will watch over you." Faith said.

"I don't need your help" I snapped.

She sighed and came over to me.
"She told me to do it, begged me. No other council member would of helped. I gave her my word not to take it back and give it to you. If I would have done that-

"You would be human and not remember any of us."

I stayed quiet looking at Johnny.
"Still.. Call me ungrateful , I rather be human than have my mate suffer. I can't even communicate with her.. Seeing that's is also your fault." I spat out grabbing my bag and walking away.

I walked down the stairs as my kids stood there .
Vanessa looked pissed. I groaned and approached them.

"Listen-

"No you listen. I am sick of losing you and daddy. "

I looked at Vanessa. She is only 15 and seems so grown. I put my bag down and hugged her deeply.
"I will get her back with everything in my will. I want you to be safe and stay here."

"But we can help." She whispered.

"You protecting the pack is helping." I told her.

Vincent rolled his eyes and stared walking away.

"What's your problem." I said.

"My problem." He shouted turning.
"Your my problem!" He said.

"Great, we're gonna go through this now? I don't have time-

"None of you do! Me and Vanessa are raising our selves! We still don't understand the matting shit! And now I hear I am gonna be Alpha? I'll make sure when I do I'll be a better one than you and dad did.. I won't leave my kids ever like you both did."

His words hurt. I smiled lightly and walked over to him. I slapped him. He stood there shocked as I pulled him into a hug as tears came down my face.
"All me and her did was protect you from day one. You and your sister were put priorities .. Don't you ever say we never cared or never raised you well because we did and tried. Having you was a blessing to us both.. I wouldn't change anything about you too."

I smiled and walked away. As he stood there and watched me leave. I got into the passenger side as lark drove and the other 's were in the back.

"Where too?" Jason said easing up the tension.

"To Michael."

He looked at me and said nothing as we drove to our pack house.
