The kids At Terry High

First Day

      "Come on Kelsey! Your gonna be late!!"
     "Ok! Coming mom!"
  ...
I rush downstairs and quickly grab something to eat. I kiss my dad and little brother goodbye while on my way to the door.

        "Have a good day at school honey!" I hear him say as I rush out the door.

Mom already has the car running and is inside, listening to the radio. As I jump in the car she smiles at me and says, "Are you ready?" I nod my head up and down and smile from ear to ear.

     Today is my very first day of High School.
                                       ......

As we pull up to the school I can't help but stare out the window in awe. When we pass by the kids I see jocks, obsessed workout guys, glamour girls, nerds, geeks, emo, and many many more. Its like all the groups that have ever been created..are here!

  I had been so amazed with the groups, that I didn't even hear what my mom said or who she had been talking to...

    "Kelsey...Kelsey honey"
I felt her gently tap my shoulder.

"Oh sorry mom..I  uh..got a bit distracted."
   She laughed and said, "Oh its ok darling! It just shows how excited you are!! Now, may you please say Hi to Mr.Tashaw"

  I suddenly became aware of the man standing right by the window on the drivers side. His hand was stretched out and he was looking towards me.

As I shook his hand I said "Nice to meet you Mr. Tashaw."

He responded with, "Likewise." And smiled at me through his perfectly white-straightened teeth.

Just then his school walkie talkie started to crackle.

         "Sir, we have one trespassing on C house. I repeat.....trespassing..on..C..house"

"Ah. Sorry but I must get going. As you heard we have a student that just got himself into some trouble."he said.

   My mom suddenly sounded a bit nervous."Does this happen often?"

"Every once in a while..but not to worry..we have the best punishments for those who wish to go against the rules. Anyways, it was nice meeting you both. Its such a pleasure to have you in my school Kelsey. I look forward to seeing you around. Good day"

   I watched him as he walked off towards another building. I took in this short time to try and memorize his features. He was about 6ft even, with silky smooth dark hair. His hair was in a buzzcut style. He seemed to look like he was in his twenties or so...far too young to be the principle of Terry High.

   ....

"Ok see you later sweetie. Have a great first day!"

  "Ok bye mom" I said that as I was stepping out of the car and shut the car door. I turned around to watch her drive off and waved goodbye.
...

It took about 5 whole minutes to take in my surroundings. The school seemed a lot smaller from the outside but on the inside..it was like a 3 level mansion.

Holy%#$&)!!!!!!
Im late!!
I was so busy "taking in my surroundings" that I lost track of time. I quickly ran through the hallways trying to find where my locker was. After a few times of going in circles I finally  found my locker.
...

I reach the classroom just in time to find...............
