Amelia was in deep sleep. Suddenly Emmett's and Alice's voice yelled. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!" "huh ?" Amelia asked sleepily. she didnt remember a thing except what happened at the market. Alice was so excited that she was jumping making her long strawberry blonde hair bounce. "what's going on ?" Amelia asked. "Oh great ! you forget the most important day of your life !" Emmett replied.
"It's your Birthday !" Alice cried. "Oh" Amelia replied "Is that it ??? you are supposed to be like 'YAY !!'" replied Alice who was getting a little annoyed. Amelia smiled at them. "Thanks" "Now get up and rub that sleep out of your eyes !" Emmett said and he and Alice left.
Amelia sat up and looked out side. Yes ! it was rainy !! She loved this kind of weather. She would prefer the cool rains. She got dressed in an off- white dress with blue flowers. She went down stairs and everyone screamed "HAPPY BIRTHDAY !" She smiled at them "Thank you ! all of you sooo much !" They were all laughing enjoying breakfast. But someone was missing. Yes it was Jack.
After all the smiles Amelia went outside and sat near a small pond. Someone put a hand on her shoulder. She turned back to see Jack smiling at her. "Happy Birthday !" he said and gave her a peck on the cheek. She smiled and hugged him. " And here is your birthday present" Jack smiled and pulled somethind out of his pocket.
Oh no ! It cant be ! is that ... her Golden pearl necklace ?!?! "This is probably the last connection you have to your grandmother." Jack smiled at her. " But ... you need it for... I mean Emmett ..." "He is okay with it" Jack continued.
"Thank you so much Jack !" She smiled and hugged him. He gently kissed her and she kissed him back. He was gently holding her back while she was knotting his Brown hair with her fingers. Jack pulled away and said "Iam sorry to say this but me, Emmett and the boys will be out of town for a few weeks." "Out of town ?" Amelia repeated sadly. "Yes but i promise i will be back soon."
That evening everyone gathered to say goodbye to them. Amelia felt so uneasy. but he will be back. right ?
