Chapter 3 - His story

Wade's POV:

"Wade honey you have to pick someone. You don't have lot of time before you become alpha." My mother lectures me.

"Mom I realize this, that I have a job to do but can I just not deal with this right now." I reply trying to walk away from the lecture.

"DON'T WALK AWAY FROM YOUR MOTHER, SON!" I knew this tone far to well this was my fathers Alpha tone and I knew he meant business.

"Now honey you don't need to use that tone with our son." I turn around to see him standing beside her.

"so who is this girl you expect me to accept as my mate?", I respond to their question annoyed.

" Well son she isn't here yet she will walk in the door in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.", my father starts to count down and the minute he gets to one the doors swing open.

I turn around and see the one girl who I never wanted to see again. "SASKIA!", I'm standing in shock at who this person in front of me is supposed to be my mate in all of this.

"WADE!" She screams running up to me and hugs me tightly. I push her off me.

"Um no why is she here. Send her home.", I reply.

"Well since the full moon is in three days she is your new mate honey so she is gonna stay here with us.", My mother says with a gentle tone.

"Yeah no I'm leaving bye.", I walk out the door and start walking towards town.

Maybe I should go for a run with Ryan and Marcus. I sure could use it. Saskia is just as bad as that mutt Lizzy, god. I walk to Ryan's house and knock on the door.

"Hey Ryan it's me Wade.", I stand in front of his door waiting for him to open up.

It only takes him a couple seconds before the door flies open revealing Ryan's face "Hey man whats up".

"I wanna go for a run, how bout it man." I asks curiously.

"Yeah, sure I could use a run." he walks out and closes the door behind him.

We walk down towards marcus' house passing Starbucks and an intoxicating scent hits me. It smells like rasberries and vanilla. Its strange but pleasant.

"Mate!" my wolf, Xavier all but screams.

"Hey Ryan, can you continue ahead to marcus' I'm gonna stop by Starbucks for a sec." curiosity lacing my voice.

"Yea sure whatever." Ryan just continued to walk just like I asked him too.

I followed that scent and it led me to an alley way... What the hell?... was the only thing I was thinking about at the moment.I realized I didn't have time for this so I left unwillingly, and walked back to the guys and we took off for our run.

While we we're running that scent came back. Jeez what is that angelic scent, then I think back to what Xaiver said. ..."Mate!"... Could it be? Have I found her? By now her scent was gone and I was finished running so I head home to change. Then decide I should walk around town so I don't have to hang out with Sakia.

In my decision to walk around town I head back to Starbucks to get a cup of coffee. I stopped when I heard yelling inside of a social worker agency.

"Yeah right MaryAnn I'm out of here!" A mysterious girl replis to her social worker walking out.

"Mate" Xaiver yells in my head.

I watch her walk into an alley way.
watching her call out to something and that something walks out and happens to be a puppy. Aww how cute.

She walks out of the alley way and walks right into me. She is absolutely adorable, but why was she in the alley way curiosity written all over my face.

"What are you looking at huh!" She says harshly. My eyes widened in suprize at how hostile she was.

"Nothing I was just curious as to why you we're walking out of an alley way?" I ask curiosity lacing my voice trying to explain myself.

"Shut up just keep walking." She replies rudely and I watch her leave and walk down another alley way with the pup following close behind.

"Go after her you can't let her walk away from us go!" xaiver yells at me.
