Ethan and I were going to go to lunch today since there wasn't much to do at our home and there's no food. So we decided why not go take some fresh air and grab something to eat.
"Cmon babe, I'm really hungry!" Ethan yelled from down stairs
"I'm going!" I yell back. I ran down stairs, ready to go and eat "Let's go"
We got to the restaurant, we went inside and sat down at the table. The waiter gave us our menus. He left, giving us time to order.
Once we were ready to order he came back with his little notepad to get our order.
"What may I get for the you guys today?" He asked
"Can I have the turkey sandwich please and water" Ethan said
He wrote down his order "Okay, and you ma'am?"
"Can I have the chicken Alfredo with some breadsticks and a side salad, and Coke" I said
"Okay, I'll be back with your order" the waiter left
Ethan gave me a weird look, and I worried "What's wrong Ethan? Is it to much money? I'll order something else"
He signed "No but don't you think it's a little bit to much food for you babe?"
I froze. As he said that I felt like tears were about to build up.Ethan knew I had an insecurity about my weight.
"Oh." Was all I could say
As we were eating I was barely touching my food. I didn't even eat any of the breadsticks. Also when Ethan was talking to me I wouldn't say much. I guess what he said really hurt me.
When Ethan was done eating I also was done eating, although I wasn't even done with half of my food.
We got home and I just went upstairs and went to the bathroom, locking the door. I sat down on the floor and cried.
"Babe" Ethan knocked on the door but I didn't answer "Babe please open the door"
"Leave me alone Ethan" I sniffed
"Babe please, look I'm sorry about what I said at the restaurant. Let me in please"
I opened the door letting Ethan in and he sat on the floor, next to me "I'm sorry (Y/N), I completely wasn't thinking what I was saying and I know how insecure you are about your weight" he caresses
"No, you were right Ethan, I shouldn't of..." Ethan cut me of by smashing his lips on mine
"I don't care okay. I love you the way you are" he said
I smiled at him and gave him a tight hug "I love you Ethan"
"Me too"
