~~There are some text messages a little into this chapter, and i hope you can understand the text-message-y-ness~~

"Forever, Clio." My boyfriend whispered to me, his arms gripping around me, keeping me locked in his warm and safe presence against the cold that was trying to attack us.

"Yeah" I mumbled back, putting my head against his arm. "Forever."

Now whoa whoa whoa, hold up. You there, yes you, that one thinking that i am not being very romantic!! I am a very romantic person when i want to be. Infact, i could be the next... Erm, what's a romantic person? Okay, i admit it. I have no romantic experiences other than the ones I've had with Freddy, as he is my first proper boyfriend. My stupid little 'romances' throughout my school years meant nothing. I say 'romances', i mean 'romance'. That boy in year seven was basically us just saying we were together, and holding hands a few times. When we speak about it now, we laugh about how stupid we were. Tyler says that there wasn't much point in us going out at all.

Tyler is my best friend. He moved to the UK from America when i was five years old, and we became friends because we swung on the swings together in our local park. I remember us trying to get higher than one another, and eventually i went so high that i fell off the swing seat and broke my arm. Oh, what a day to remember. It just so happens that he lives two roads away, so we were always together.

Anyway, i haven't had much luck with boys at all. That's why when Freddy stepped into my life, i thought things could change.

I met Freddy when he came in with a filled in job application in the hope he could work in the cafe i worked at.

"Hello beautiful, you don't know by any chance where i could get this confirmed do you?" He asked, leaning against the counter. I was slightly unnerved by his style of clothing, flirty attitude and the way he was slouched against the counter in tracksuit bottoms...yet he still look good.

"Holly?" I yelled, turning around and taking the application form in-between my fingertips. Holly, a lovely strawberry blonde haired girl who had worked here for years, came bouncing out of the back and dealt with Freddy. Not long after that day, i started to see him more often, wearing the same burgundy apron as me, and doing the same jobs as me. I guess he worked here now.

Im going to give it to you straight, i may not have got a perfect impression from this blonde masterpiece at first, but we sure as Hell were flirting. I can't exactly tell you how you flirt behind the counter of a coffee shop, but we did. And it was only a few months later when we got together.

A year passed, and we were still happily together. This is what you read at the start of this little book of mine. I can tell you what happened that night though. Sit back and enjoy... I don't know, some popcorn or something.

"What's up, babe?" Freddy asked me, kissing my head in a random spot. "Our one year anniversary is supposed to be perfect."

"Oh, nothing really, Fred, I'm just tired, that's all."

"Are you sure?" You've been acting weird lately."

"Weird?" i questioned, really quite unsure of what he was talking about.

"Yeah. Weird." He dropped the subject after that and it wasn't spoken of again. Later on, before i got into bed, i got two texts at the same time.

One was from my boyfriend:

"Hey Babe, do you want to come to mine tomorrow?"

And the other one was from my best friend:
