Again the dreams came to me. The landscape remained the same. Desert all around. But the sky had gone dark with clouds, and the tree was withered. Dust flew around in cyclones. Gray leaves swirled from the tree.

I walked toward the tree against my will. A hollow female voice came from the sky. "Kyllian Snu, son of dreams, answer the call of Ananke." Thunder roared in the sky.

The first thing I thought was 'Who the heck is Kylian?' But the words wouldn't come out of my mouth.

The voice spoke again. "Inevitability has been denied. You have broken the ancient laws. You will suffer the consequences. No one survives the mark of compulsion. No soul can live by denial of necessity. Strip yourself of your fate and enter the realm of the primordials."

A black bolt of lightning struck the tree and it flourished back to life. Water that could only be described as looking deathly black. Entire lives seemed to be flooding away as the liquid poured from the trees. My hand reached out, before touching it water swirled out around me sprayed through my hair. A feeling of freedom engulfed me.

The falling water parted, revealing a hole in the tree that led to a starry sky. I was about to walk through when a forced pushed me backwards and I woke up. Two people were yelling my name right in my face and shaking my shoulders.

One was Hunter, the other was an older man with a scraggly beard. My breathing was heavy as I tried to calm down.

I tried to figure out what was going on. I seemed to be in a living room of a decently sized house. I was lying on a red couch in front of a blazing fireplace. A leopards head was mounted above the mantle.

Hunter looked to worried to speak as I sat up. "What happened? Where are we?"

Hunter said nothing but the old man, who was in a wheelchair, spoke. "Hello Kyle. I'm Chiron. Nothing happened you were just having a-," he hesitated, "a nightmare. You are at my home. Your stepfather is an old friend of mine, you two are going to be staying here for a while."

I nodded. Hunter still looked worried. "What's wrong dad?"

He responded in a concerned voice. "Nothing it's just your hair."

I felt my hair. Nothing seemed wrong with it. I looked around the room until I spotted a mirror. I walked over to it and stared in awe. My hair was whiter the snow. Like nothing I've ever seen before. I looked back at them. "Wha-"

Chiron interrupted. "I think it's time your father told you something's you believe in Greek gods?"
