they don't run into anyone from school, thankfully
she was planning on going to aerie, being in need of some new undergarments
she's never been shopping with a boy before, although she's fairly sure you're not allowed to buy bras in the presence of one
they walk past, and she tries not to glance too longingly at the display
"i can wait outside, if you want"
she flinches
she doesn't know why she says what she does next
but she does
"i don't mind, i've always wanted a boy's opinion"
