Its Been Forever

Chapter 1:

"Penelope Rhode Amidala!" I'm advisor Marquese yelled as I peeled one of my eyes open.
"General Kenobi and General Skywalker will be here any moment, and you need to be up and dressed to greet them!" "WHAT!!!" I screamed jumping out of bed and rushing over to my maids who helped me put on my outfit. "How could you let me sleep in and not inform me ahead of time" I groaned as my corset was tightend.
"They sent a transmission this morning informing us about their arrival" Marquese told me as we made our way to the landing platform, just in time to see the ship land.

"Obi!!!" I squealed as I ran towards the man who was like a father to me. "Pen!" He yelled as I jumped into his arms.
"How have you been young one?" He questioned as he let me down a bowed before me. "Very well master Kenobi, and you?" "Same as always" he replied with a smile. "Queen Amidala" Anakin smiled a bowed before me. "Master Skywalker" I bowed back, And smiled as we made eye contact.

"Where is the Senator?" "She is away for an important meeting as always" Obi-wan and I spoke as we walked towards the garden. "Are you alright Penelope?" Obi-wan questioned me as we abruptly stopped. "The visions....they keep getting worse" I replied sadly while looking down.
"They will get better" Obi said while trying to comfort me "Anakin had the same problem as a boy, it just takes time to confront them" he said as he placed his hand in my shoulder while giving it a firm squeeze.

"Anakin will be staying with you for protection" "What? Why?" I questioned "With this war going on, theres been rumors of the Separatist wanting to take control of Naboo" "Why would they want to do that? I have done nothing towards them!" I yelled angrily. "Penelope Stop!" Obi-wan said strictly "Fine!" I said storming off back towards my escorts, while Anakin conversed with Obi-wan. "Are you coming?!" I asked with an attitude.

They both exchanged a few more words before bidding farewell. I waved mearly at Obi-wan as he boarded his ship and took off. Turning around I waited for Anakin to catch up before walking back towards the palace with my escorts.

"It's been years since we've last seen each other" Anakin spoke while walking through the garden with me. "I know, how long has it been? 8 maybe 10 years?" "Somewhat like that, maybe even 20" I giggled at his comment, while looping my arm within his. "It's nice talking to you again, I've missed you" I said, looking up into his brown eyes. "I've missed you too" he looked down smiling at me as well.
