Happy birthday Jared!" The whole cast yells out, Lana was holding a large cake with happy birthday written on it.

"Aw thanks guys" he said and he truly meant it. But the cast knew he was dissapointed that you couldn't make it to his birthday for to finacial issues.

You see you lived on the other side of the world, in a small country. The long distance thing was difficult but you called each other every night and always skyped on Saturday's. Not only that but you visited him whenever you had the time or the money which was difficult for you to come by.

Jared came to see you to, more often than you could see him because of the acting job, he had a lot more money. He has offered to pay your parents debt which was a big reason you couldn't visit often by you refused saying that it was your debt to pay and that you would do it yourself.

You had meant to be coming to the birthday party the cast and crew of the show has put together for him but your mother had had a heart attack and you had to use your trip money to pay for her care.

When you had called to tell him you had broken down in tears and he had to comfort you wishing for nothing more than to be able to put his arms around you.

When Lana and Jennifer has heard they organised for you to fly over secretly. Which you accomplish with out Jared even suspecting. Which is how you got to this.

You kissed Jareds cheek and whispered 'Happy Birthday' in his ear. He spun around so fast you could feel the wind he created. He picked you up hugging you tight and spinning you around. You giggle as he does so.

When he put you down you press a kiss to his lips and repeat your message.

During the party Jared never seemed to leave your side, a fact you didn't really mind.

At one point you were standing off to the side your foreheads resting on each other, your noses brushing gently. Neither of you said anything, to lost in the other. Neither of you noticed Lana take a selfie that had the two of you very obviously in it.

This was a big deal because the public didn't know about the two of you. You weren't ready for the pressure of Hollywood.

Lana posted the selfie on her instagram, captioning it 'Happy Birthday @therealjaredgilmore. Hope you liked your presant'

Jennifer reposted it capitoning, 'Wow @Lanaparilla that's amazing didn't know you could take such a good selfie. What do you think @therealjaredgilmore?'

Of course the fans went crazy. Instagram blew up, Twitter went down, and tumblr a mess of the photo the most popular being the common zoom in four frames with the caption, just innocently checking out Lana Parilla's selfie wait... what... what?! ... what!!!

Fans searched the entire internet looking for the girl in the photo, a few even reached the end of the internet. Finally they found her instagram page which of course was on private and had no information to who she was. And that's the way it remand untill your one year anniversary, where you gave Jared the best gift you could by telling him that you could go public and saying the 3 word stament.
