Warnings: Sad, possible part two
You stood next to Henry, gasping at the beauty of Camelot. Arthur was annoucing Guinevere but you were distracted by the feel of your best friend slipping his hand into yours and squeezing to show how excited he was.
So you might've had a tiny weeny little crush on Henry. Ok it wasn't so tiny but you never acted on your feelings because you had never got a hint from henry that he felt the same and you weren't going to ruin your friendship.
Later that night as you got ready for the ball you couldn't help wondering if any of the touching you guys did was more than a friendly touch between friends to Henry or something more as it was to you.
Sighing and agreeing with yourself that it probably wasn't you strapped your sword to your side. Just because you were a girl and a peasant in the enchanted forest didn't mean you did know how to use a sword. In fact you were the best swordsman in your village and three villages past.
You never went anywhere without your sword. It was your favourite thing that you owned. Your father had given it to you before he went off to fight in princess Snows army.
He had died in that war.
Your sword had a simple iron blade and the hilt wasn't anything special, it was silver and your family name was carved into it.
At the ball you distracted yourself from the fact that Henry seemed to have a crush on the other girl Violet by dancing with nearly every guy in the room. Though your feet were killing you, you ignored it.
When Percival tried to kill Regina you were right beside Robin running in with your sword drawn. When Robin pushed him off Regina you caught him, your sword pressing against his neck just enough to make a trickle of blood come out and trail down his neck.
Robin was to busy checking Regina and everyone else was whispering about you, a girl holding a sword against a knights neck. Nobody but Henry noticed Percival pull a knife from his belt.
"(Y/n)" he screamed as the knight drove his knife into your stomach. Your knees gave out benath you and you dropped, your sword slicing Perciavls neck as you did so. The knight fell dead beside you.
Gasping in pain you tried to ignore the darkness as it threatened to pull you under into the land of the dead.
You vaguely heard Regina tell everyone that we had to help you. You felt Hook pick you up, you could feel the cold metal on your legs.
Slowly but surely the darkness pulled you under. Just before it gave it's final pull a tear ran down your face.
"Henry" you whispered and felt a warm hand wet with tears take your own.
"I love you" you said before you fell into the darkness.
---------------------------
They did everything they could to save you. But once someone's dead they stay that way. Death, no matter what world was permant. Forever.
Henry sat beside you all night holding your hands, tears streaming down his face.
He was running over your last words, he knew you meant that you loved him as more than a friend and he was furious at himself for never saying it back.
For never telling you that he loved you to. For telling you that he always thought of you as more than a friend.
He cursed himself for being to scared to take the hints you had left for him.
He swore to himself that he would find a way to bring you back
