This won't be long. It's just a short story that has, maybe 10 chapters max?

Oh well, hope you enjoy it! I was inspired to do this when I saw Lucky and Kylie's photoshoot together. They're perfect for each other! Right???

Photo is an alternate cover for this story.

Love,

"Tomorrow is the last night we will be separated, and from then on, we will be together, I promise you that," Poe grinned down at her as he made his promise. They were under the sheet of stars, and the moon's glorious light.

"I love you so much, Poe," she told him, pulling him into a kiss. He cherished every kiss and loved every time she did that to him.

"So, I'll see you at our wedding?"

She nodded, then embraced him tightly like it was the last time she could.

In fact, perhaps that was the last.

It took two years for Poe to finally achieve their wedding day. The church was decorated with blue roses she loved, the most special people in their lives were there, excluding his parents who detested mhim so badly with his choice of bride.

Imagining her walking down the aisle in her dream wedding gown fueled the excitement even more. He's certain that she'll be beautiful. The music was the usual Canon composed by Johann Pachelbel for the procession. Good thing his brother, Anthony, made it and he served as his best man. "Dude, I still can't believe you're getting married!" Anthony whispered to him and Poe responded with a grin. The pianist stopped playing Canon and waited for the doors to open for the bride.

This is it, I'm going to marry the love of my life! Poe gleefully thought.

However, the door opened abruptly and there's the maid-of-honor running towards him, holding something important in her hand.

A lot of things ran through his head while Gretchen approached. Is she okay? Chain of dreadful thoughts like his bride was in an accident, or...

"Poe," Gretchen spoke breathlessly, and it's like she was carefully thinking of the words she's going to say next. She just handed him the pink envelope his bride specially designed for her own use.

Poe took it and was afraid of what it contained. His gut feeling was something really bad, though he was still positive his bride would show up. He gently ripped the envelope, and saw a letter neatly folded and the ring he bought two years ago.

He's broken, yet he gained enough courage to read the letter.

The penmanship was elegant and he knew that this is hers.

"Poe,

I am sorry.
I can't give myself to you.
I know you will never forgive me for this, but I can never love you the way you did to me.

Celestia."
