Chapter 2

Lauren's POV

Camila and I normally drive to school together but today she text me early this morning saying she was getting a lift with Austin. I know I shouldn't be angry or upset because he's her boyfriend but I do because we always do it together. I can't help but worry that she is ditching me for Austin but part of me knows that she wouldn't do that, well part of me hopes. Camila is really my only friend.

I don't feel like school today, I have 4/5 lessons with Camila AND Austin. Lately, she's been working with Austin for projects and I'm left to work with this girl who just moved here, Ally. I haven't really spoken to Ally but we were paired up last lesson in Science. She's seems like a pretty cool girl but I wish it was Camila.

Camila POV

Austin [8.25am]
Hey baby, I'm outside your house x

I didn't need to text back because I was soon out the door and making my way to Austin's car. He's sat in the driving seat looking at me with a smirk on his face and I think I know why.

"You look hot today", Austin commented.
"Shut up and drive we're late", I replied while hopping into the passenger seat. He leaned over and kissed my lips, "I love you Camila".

There it was again, the big 3 words that he's been using lately. I know he means it, he must do - he wouldn't say it otherwise right? He tells me when I see him, when I leave him, when I go to sleep and when I do almost everything and anything. I've been with Austin for a year now, and I'm pretty sure there's more to come. I just don't know if I love him, I don't what it feels like to love someone.

"Are you ok?", Austin asks me.
"Yes, sorry I was just thinking", I said.
"About how much you love me?", he said with a smirk on his face.
"You have no idea", and that's all I could say.

We finally arrive at school, and when we exit the car Austin grabs my hand. I smile at the action. Austin shows me off in front of his friends and makes sure everyone knows that I'm his. He makes me feel so special.
"So, Camila, what do-", Austin tried to say but I cut him off.
"LAUREN", I shout across the street. I drop Austin's hand to wave at Lauren.

Lauren's POV

"LAUREN", Camila shouted while waving at me. I was angry at her for getting a lift with Austin but I knew I wouldn't be able to stay angry when I heard her voice and saw her beautiful face. She means everything to me.
"Hey Camila, how are you", I ask as I'm approaching her and her boyfriend.
"I'm good thank you, how are you", she asked me in return.
"I'm not too bad, your hair looks nice today", I compliment her because it was the truth.
"Thank you Lolo, it means a lot", she answered.
"Hi Lauren"
"Hi Austin", I faked a smile to respond.
Austin hates me and I hate Austin. He grabs Camila's hand and walks ahead of me so I'm currently 3rd wheeling behind them. I hear in the distance...
"Hey Lauren, come here"
