Too Much(Chapter 7)

Alex P.O.V

After Prom a group of us meet behind the school to walk back to kellins. it's not a long walk and it's fine with jack here holding my hand

'So jack...are you okay' I try and trail behind the rest of the group who are in a serious party mood.

'yeah..why?' he looks away a bit so I can barely hear him.

'if you ever wanna talk about anything I will always be here ya know. ' I try and get closer to him to keep warm as the air is getting colder.

'i know Alex. you've told me' he shrugged and gets further away from me so I can no longer feel his warmth by my side.

'i just never want you to feel like you have to bottle it up ya know' I not to sound too pleading. I just get so worried about him.

'yeah. shut up Alex , seriously stop nagging. ' he snaps as he lets go of my hand and puts his one in his pocket.

'sorry jack' I mumble. I don't think I've done anything wrong, I just don't want him to feel like I've done something bad.

'whose it from?' I hear jack ask .

'Lisa, she broke up with me' he laughs

'so you never told her ?'

'nope, I was too completely devoted to you jack ' I smile and look up at him, but he doesn't smile back, he's too busy looking at the floor. At his own footsteps.

we walk in silence for the rest if the journey. I don't know what to say, and jack doesn't seem in the talkative mood. I try and make eye contact with him a few times but he just looks away.

As we reach kellins house the music starts playing loudly and the drinks start being given out. to my surprise jack takes one, so I do to,just a beer that's all.

When more people start coming and filling up kellins house I find myself losing jack in and amongst the crowd and he doesn't care to find me so I walk off to talk to kellin.

'hey Kellin, happy birthday man!' I say as loud as I can so he can hear me above the noise.

'thanks man!' he says as he pulls Yasmin next to him . 'you stay here' he laughs . she just laughs back and they continue having fun.

I'm not having the best of times as I was not with jack. where is he anyway? I try and get though the crowd in his kellins living room to look for jack.

The music is giving me a headache and I can't focus , I don't think jack is in the living room though. I find the drinks table in the crowd and take another drink. okay, now I must focus on looking for jack.

I barge through the crowd and find stairs, this is the only place he could go right? I start of by checking the room at the far right, kellin has a reasonably big house so i try and be quick. I work my way to the other side of the first floor , no jack but a few couples or one nighters.

I try the second floor . door one was a bathroom, door two was a unused bathroom . I hear some talking in the third room then silence so I carefully open the door.

I don't know what to think. I see jack, sitting on the bed with a random girl kissing him.I run as fast as my legs can take me to the bed and punch her in the face, taking her off him.
