Closer (Camren)

Chapter 3

Lauren looked over to see the new girl, Ally, calling her over. Lauren looked at Camila and Austin, they wouldn't notice if she no longer followed them. So Lauren walked over to Ally.

"Hey, what's up? You're Ally right? My science partner?", Lauren asked Ally
"Hi, yes I am. And I was just wondering if you thought of an idea for our project", Ally questioned.
"Um no, sorry. How about you?" Lauren replied.
"I've got a few, I'll tell you about them in class, want to walk there together? We have it first.", Ally said.
"Sure!", I replied with a smile. "It's not like I have a best friend in that class", I mumbled.

Camila's POV

I looked behind me only to notice that Lauren had stopped following us. I wondered where she went because we have science together first. I do wish she was my partner for the project because I have so much to tell her about Austin and I. I guess I could always tell her after school, we're going over mine for a nice catchup which is definitely what we need, we haven't been as close lately.

When I walked into science Lauren was already sat with a small, blonde haired girl. I think she's new as I've never seen her before. They were laughing and whispering in each other's ears. I couldn't help but get jealous, I don't know why. I think it was because Lauren was happy not being my partner, she looked fine with that girl while I'm upset because I want to be her partner. Maybe it's because she has found a new best friend and forgotten about me.

"Hey", I say with a fake smile.
"Hey Camz! This is Ally, my science partner and new friend. She's just moved here. Ally, this is my best friend Camila", She tells me.
"Oh so this is Camila?" She said winking to Lauren. "Hi Camila, nice to meet you.", the girl said.
"Nice to meet you too Ally", I reply.
"So Lauren, where did you go when we were walking to class?", I asked calmly.
"Uh, I spoke to Ally, why?", Lauren said back.
"Well, you could've told me you were gonna walk with out me to go and speak to your new friend", I said with my voice getting louder.
"What? Like you told me you weren't going to come to school with me today because you were going with your boyfriend", she spat back.
"Oh. Ok.", I had nothing left to say and neither did she.

"Hey babe, everything ok?", Austin said squeezing my hand noticing something was up.
"Yes I'm fine, it's nothing", I lied.
"Well, do you want to come to mine after school? We can talk about things"
Oh no. Lauren is coming to mine after school, we've been planning it all week. I don't want to say no to Austin but I don't want to say no to Lauren either but we're not exactly on good terms right now. Well I don't think.
"Cammmilllaaaaa? You don't have to say yes you know babe", Austin said while waving his hand in my face.
"Sorry. Yes, I will come.", I smiled giving him a kiss.
