Darkness.
That's all you see.
Screams, cries of pain, sinister laughter.
That's all you hear.
A man, walking towards you at an alarming rate. Almost like he is not human. You want to scramble away but something keeps you in place. You try to call out for help but nothing but your breath escapes your lips. The man is closer now, terror washes over you! The eyes. The yellow eyes piercing into you like daggers being thrown at your heart. The man smiles, "Oh, Y/N. I love that terrorized look on your face." All of a sudden dark shadows lunge at you in all directions! "AHHHHHHHH!" Your scream echoes around for no one to hear but the man with the yellow eyes.

"Y/N! Y/N! Wake up! You'll be late for your first shooting lesson!" You jolt up in bed, cold sweat washing over you. "Yeah, yeah right I'll be down in a minute." You say to your little sister Marla. "Okay!" Marla runs down stairs, thumping loudly on the stairs. "Uugh," you groan as you rise out of bed. Wiping your forehead you walk over to put on your favorite pair of jeans and a button down shirt. You look at the dark red shirt, reminding you of the blood- no! You think to yourself, I will not think of that, not now, not ever again.You walk down the stairs humming your favorite song, trying to forget yet another nightmare. "Good morning sweetie." Your Uncle greets you with the same sleepy smile. Marla was already finishing her meal by the time you sat down. Marla was 8 years old, a big difference from your age. 11 years to be exact. She was the most precious thing to you, and would give anything to make her happy.
You run your fingers through your thick Y/H/C hair as breakfast was served before you. "Ready for your first shooting lesson?" Your uncle asked, obviously more excited then you were. "Yeah, why wouldn't I? I'm amazing!" You pretend to shoot Marla's juice glass with your finger. Marla let out a giggle as she shields herself from the "gun". Uncle B looks at the clock, "Alright you two monkeys, hop on in the car and we're gone!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The old Jeep pulled to a stop in front of a sort of well-looking house. The faint smell of gun powder fills your nose as you step out of the car. "I'll see you soon Marla! If I'm not back by sun down then I've probably got a hotel room and will be back in a couple of days. I know it's a long drive for you Uncle B, don't work yourself too hard now," you smile. "Ok sweetie, love you." Waves Uncle B. "BYE SIS! SEE YOU LATER!" You look back to see the car driving away with Marla sticking her hand out the window signing "I love you".
So far, you've met your instructor, Hans, and you're heading down to the woods to start shooting. "You know how to work a gun, little lady?" Asked Hans with a smile."Yeah, I actually have one of my own, at home."
"Why don't you use it?"
"Well, it was my fathers...and I-I don't want to do something that will mess it up, somehow..." Your conversation doesn't get much better from then on. Hans could sense it was a painful topic for you. Your parents were murdered on a calm dark night. No moon, no stars, just clouds. You were young so you don't remember all of it...only yellow eyes that stare at you when you sleep. Oh no here we go, as you thought of the screams and the blood and-and. You don't get to finish your thought when you've realized you've reached the woods with Hans.
"Focus, focus-"
|BAM|
"Nice shot, Y/N! It's like you've been doing this your whole life." You turn and look at Hans. "Thanks Hans."
"We should be heading back now, the sun has almost set." The sun indeed was close to the horizon. Just enough light to make it out of the woods. You turn to look at Hans when you hear a disturbance in the bush behind him. "Hans, did you hear that?!"
"Calm down, it's probably a scared deer..." His voice trailed off when something made a tree limb snap. Then out of no where a giant..thing! came out of the bushes and grabbed Hans before you could move a muscle. "HANS!" You yell as you look frantically around. "Oh gosh, oh gosh..." You start running in the opposite direction. Branches and thorny bushes grasping at you as you run away. You can hear something running after you, gaining speed as your fear gains.
You run for what feels like forever. Open cuts are all over your body. What was that thing!!??
Your thought was interrupted as you trip on a log in your path. Your head slams against a rock as you heard a 'snap' come from your wrist. All you feel is pain, and everything goes black.
