No one's P. O. V
A small yawn caught Natsu's attention, and he watched as Lucy's small chocolate brown eyes finally opened. Even half asleep she seemed lost in thought." What's wrong" he asked her."I feel like there's something important that I've forgotten" Lucy said, her voice incredibly quiet. Natsu even had to use his dragon hearing to hear her. "Is there something wrong with not being able to remember " Natsu asked. "Yes" she answered. "Because I know that the thing I can't remember, is the one thing that can and will change my life" she replied.
Slowly she picked up the hem of her shirt, revealing a strange mark on her side. The mark was a circle of vines and in the middle of it was a crown and wings. "How long have you had this tattoo " Natsu asked. "I can't remember, but I have a strange feeling that it isn't a tattoo, but a birthmark, and that I've had it since, well, birth" Lucy said. "Well it's been a long day, so let's go home" Natsu said, picking the girl up. "I want to go home" Lucy stated confidently, "you crazy girl, I already said that it's time to go home."
As soon as Natsu opened the door to Lucy's apartment, little Lucy ran into the apartment. "Ah hah" he heard her yell, walking in he saw her holding a children's book in her hands. The story was called "key of the starry heavens".
She turned to the back of the book and slowly ran her fingers over the last piece of paper that was surprisingly blank. Writing slowly appeared in the places she ran her fingers over, until the whole page was no longer blank.
It said" my darling daughter I regret having to do this but it is for your own good. I shall erase your memories, and replace them with fake ones. Someday you will have forgotten about having ever met the dragons, someday you shall forget having seen and owned the keys of the legends. Someday I will die fighting Zeref, but you will never know that. My only fear is that somehow you'll remember, that someday the spell I cast on Zeref will disappear and then you will have to take my place. You will have to fight Zeref in a fight to the death, and my fear is that my choice is a mistake, and that you will be unprepared and then you will die at his hands as well. I have discovered that the only way that you will ever remember is if the clock starts turning in the wrong direction, if you are turned into a child when you are not supposed to be a child, well it will either be a disaster or the greatest miracle that earthland has ever known. If you ever read this my darling Lucy, know that mother loves you and that you have a destiny that surpasses anyone else's."
