New Years Kiss

It  was New Years Eve in New York City. Eren and Levi had been waiting all day surrounded by 50 million people in a tight fencing area, just to see the ball drop and be covered in confetti when the clock struck midnight. It had been Eren's dream for a long time now to see the ball drop on New Years Eve in Time's Square, and now it was finally coming true. Eren couldn't believe it was actually happening; and most of all, he couldn't believe the absolute love of his life was there to share the experience with him. 

"I can't believe we're actually here!" Eren exclaimed with excitement, "Levi, look! Just 5 minutes til midnight!" he said while clutching his boyfriends hand. Levi had that slightly unamused look on his face, as usual. 

"I still don't understand why you wanted to fly here to wait behind metal bars all day, just to see a giant glittery ball drop down and rain confetti all over us.." Levi groaned.

Eren glanced down at his small boyfriend. "Aww, c'mon Levi, it's New Years Eve! It's exciting! Why can't you just kick back and have fun." He said as he pulled Levi into his arms. Levi let out a sigh as he leaned into Eren's chest. 

Everyone crammed together as they glued their eyes to the giant clock. "One minute to go.." Eren said softly. Levi grabbed Eren's hand. They both looked up to the giant ball that was about to drop. Everyone began to count down..

Eren turned Levi to face him, "I'm so happy I got to spend this last amazing year with you; and I can't wait to spend the next one with you.." he said with a smile. He leaned his forehead to rest against Levi's as their noses touched slightly. Just when Eren was about to say 'I love you,'

Levi moved away from their tight embrace. "Levi?" Eren asked as Levi moved down to the ground, managing with the little room he had to move, still holding Eren's hand in his. He starred up into Eren's bright green eyes. "Eren.." he began, "I love you with all of my heart.. You're my everything, my whole world, my other half.. You're everything that completes me.." he took out a small black box from his jacket pocket.

"Eren, mon amour... Will you marry me?" he asked with a sweet smile.

Eren's eyes began to tear up, he was barely able to speak."Yes.." he said softly.

"Yes, yes, yes!" he said louder. "Absolutely, a million times yes!!"Levi stood up as Eren leaped into his arms.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! the crowd yelled in unison,

 As Levi pulled Eren in for a passionate kiss. When they broke for air, they looked up, only to realize they were on the jumbo tron. The giant crowd cheered as they pressed their noses together, still in a tight embrace. "I love you.." Levi said. Eren smiled and giggled softly, "I love you too.." He replied.

"Thank you for being my New Years kiss..."
