XI: Silver Wedding Anniversary

King's POV

I woke up with the sunshine shining upon my face. I turned to my left, and there, I saw the love of my life. Beautiful as ever, forever.

She moved and said, "Baka matunaw ako niyan" She smiled at me and I automatically smiled back.

I kissed her forehead and then her lips. She then covered her lips after. I asked her why, "Ang landi mo kasi. Hindi ako ready!" She answered. We both laughed and I kissed her cheek. Which made her to give me a death glare but we just laughed it out.

She was about to go to the bathroom but I blurted out the words, "Happy 25th Anniversary, Hon!" She ran to me and hugged me tightly "Aww! I'm so happy you remembered, hon!" She kissed me and hugged me again "I love you" She wispered and I responsed with a soft kiss on her cheek.

"May surprise ka?" She asked me. "Secret. Surprise nga, di ba?" I didn't know that I already answered her question. "Waah! So, may surprise nga?" Umiling na lang ako pero tumugon rin naman. "O, sige na. Meron na nga. Get yourself dressed!" She once again kissed me and went off.

Yes. It's our 25th anniversary! Aww. Ang tatanda na talaga namin! But, as you can tell, we're still young! We move like teens and we can still make each other feel "kilig".

I got myself ready for my surprise for my beloved wife. I'll make sure that today's gonna be perfect!

Dinner Time

The dinner I prepared for the whole family is all set! I texted the children, they all confirmed. Duke even texted,

Maghohoneymoon kayo ni Mom mamaya Dad, no?.

Loko talaga yun. Nagreply lang ako ng,

Loko ka talaga! Pasalamat ka, anak kita!.

At loko talaga nagreply na naman,

Salamat, Dad. Dahil anak mo 'ko!.

Okay, back to the dinner.

Dumating na sila at binati ako. Ako lang dahil wala pa ang Mommy nila. Nareready pa raw. Mga babae talaga!

They gave their gifts and they sat down at their respective chairs. Prince broke the silent atmosphere, "Ah. It's really good to be home. There's no place like home!" Princess responded with a high-pitched voice, "Agree!!" Napangiti ako at ngumiti rin si Duchess at Duke.

After 20 minutes, wala pa rin si Queen. I was about to stand up but I was stunned by a gorgeous woman standing infront of me. It's like, "Uy! Slow-mo moment ni Mom at Dad!" Sabi ni Duke and they all said "ayie".

I held my wife's hand and accompanied her to her seat. She smiled at me and I smiled back sweetly.

We started eating. Queen asked the kids, "How's life, kids?" She asked with a sweet smile. The kids then answer.

"Still the same. Peaceful and Happy" Duchess

"May bago akong girfriend. Uh, ano ngang pangalan nun? Rachel or Rochelle? Basta. Yun na yun. Ang gwapo ko talaga!" Duke with a grin on his face. The girls rolled their eyes. I understand them. Mahangin talaga tong anak kong to.

"It WAS peaceful. Until SOMEONE gave my freaking number to an annoying witch!"
She said while glaring at Princess and Princess just gave him a peace-sign.

"Ako? Tinatanong pa ba yun? Maganda pa rin. Before pa nabuo ang mundo, maganda na ko" Taas noo na sabi ni Princess. ALL of us rolled our eyes and we laughed.

The night deepened and we talked about a lot of random things. We even debated on which came first, the chicken or the egg. Pretty random, right?

We were all having fun. Until,

Our wine glasses were shot. Ambushed, again? Hindi ba sila nagsasawa? We readied our weapons and Duchess shouted, "Show yourselves, cowards!"

Two men and a lady came. I was thinking they were Venom's. But, no. They were from another Mafia Clan. The Pheonix Mafia.

"How dare you interrupt our dinner?!" Galit na sabi sa kanila ni Queen. They smirked and the lady spoke with a brittish accent, "Oh, we're not here to explain ourselves"

Gagalaw na sana kami pero binigyan kami ni Queen ng 'gumalaw kayo ng kahit isang muscle, papatayin ko kayo!" look. Wala na kaming nagawa kundi sumunod. Minsan lang magalit ang asawa ko.

Tinaas ni Queen ang baril pero naunahan siya ng lalaki. Buti nakailag si Queen. Binaril niya kaagad yung lalaki at nagsalita, "Lanya ka! Bwisit!"

Susugurin sana siya ng isa pang lalaki pero sinikmuraan ni Queen yung lalaki at kinarate chop ang batok. Tumba naman yung lalaki.

Tinutukan niya ng baril ang natirang babae na nanginginig na sa takot. "What's your motive?" Tanong ni Queen. Sinagot siya nung babae, "N-n-napag-u-utosan l-lang k-k-kami"

"Papalampasin kita ngayon para masabi sa leader niyo na sa susunod, kapag magpapadala sila ng magpapatay sa amin, yung hindi duwag, ha?" Tumango-tango yung babae at tumakbo palayo.

Umupo si Queen at hinilot-hilot ang ulo niya. "Fvck! Kahit nagsasaya tayo, may mang-aambush pa rin?! Leche!" Sigaw ni Queen.

Hingod-hagod ko ang likod niya para kumalma siya. Effective naman. "Chill, Queen. Pagpatuloy na lang natin ang celebration, okay?" Sabi ko. "Oo nga, Mom. Chill lang!" Sabi ni Duke. Bumuntong-hininga lang ang asawa ko bilang tugon.

Our little celebration continued. We played slow music. Nagkatinginan kami ni Queen at ngumiti. Nag-'ayie' na naman ang mga anak namin.

Sumayaw kami ni Queen sa gitna. Bumulong siya sa akin, "I love you, hon. Thank you for tonight. Happy Anniversary!"
Humiwalay muna ako sa kanya at bumulong rin, "Anything for my Queen. Happy Anniversary! I love you more than the capacity of the universe!" I kissed her lips.

Naputol ang moment namin ng asawa ko nang sumigaw si Princess.

"Awwww. Ang sweet niyo talaga Mom at Dad! Hashtag KiUeen shipper na ako! Medyo awkward ang ship name niyo, pero pwede na rin."

Nagsitawanan na naman kami at nagsalita si Duchess, "Panira ka talaga ng moment!" Tumawa na naman kami.

I kissed my wife and we swayed together with the soft rhythm of the music.

Today might not be perfect, due to the apperance of some mafia people, its still perfect for me----us.

A night spent with my family, for me, is more than perfect.

I only have one wish left.

I wish, our baby Diamond could come back.

But, I know, that wish is more than impossible. I know.

All I---we can do is cherish our family.

And, I'm so thankful that Queen and I are happily wed for 25 years!

Today, is the most memorable wedding anniversary for us.

Because, most of all, it's our silver wedding anniversary!
