Chapter 4

Saturday and Sunday passed by fast. It was pretty boring, I mean, my cousin isn't home as always. I get it she has business, but she could've at least called. It was 4 AM and I couldn't go back to sleep. I decided to watch Spongebob, yes, Spongebob, don't judge me. After 2 episodes, i started watching YouTube videos. I laughed and laughed and laughed. It was now 6AM and I didn't know what to do meanwhile I wait for it to be 7. I didn't feel secure alone, so I decided to text Jacob.

To: Jacob

Hey! Are you awake?

*5 minutes later*

From: Jacob

Hey Melissa! And I am now. Haha what's up?

To: Jacob

I don't know what to do I can't go back to sleep & I am bored a'f 😓

*2 minutes later*

From: Jacob

If u want I can go 2 ur house in a lil bit 😊

To: Jacob

Would you? Really?!

*a minute later*

From: Jacob

Yeah! I'll be there in 10 minutes 😁

To: Jacob

Kk thnx so much!

*a minute later*

Hey dnt mention it!

I locked my phone and went to my kitchen to grab a banana, because I was a bit hungry.

About 15 minutes later, Jacob arrived. I heard my doorbell ring.

"Hey" I greeted with a huge smile on my face.

"Hey" he smiled back.

"Come in" I said while standing aside so he can step in. We waited until it was 7AM so we started walking to school. When we got there, guess what was awaiting me. Oh, yes, the wanna be's and the queen of all sluts.

"Hey bitch, hey babe" Leslie 'greeted' us.

"Hey sluts, hey whore" I was surprised that those words came out of Jacob's mouth.

"Oh so now your on the bitch's side?" Leslie snapped.

"Ummm... Hello? If you haven't noticed your the only one acting like a bitch here." I stated. Usually I am not the one to talk back, but she was my best friend and even though she's my enemy now, I feel like I can tell her all the shit I want. And with that, I felt a quick pull on my scalp. "OW!" I slightly yelled.

"Listen, bitch, stay away from my man or things are gonna get ugly" she whispered in my ear.

"As far as I know, things already got ugly" I responded.

"Well then" she released her grip on my hair "have it your way" she then walked away.

"What the hell is she up to?" Jacob asked.

"I don't know, but I am not going down without a fight" I informed him as I made my way towards Marlene.

"Hey Melissa" she greeted with a smile "what'd those bitches do now" she continued noticing my anger.

"Just threats" I calmly responded.

"Don't worry, if those bitches get near you I'll gather up the whole gang and we'll handle this bitch style" I laughed at her comment.

"You guys don't have to do that". At break I was completely humiliated. Leslie 'accidentally' dropped kool aid all over me yes kool aid! So my hair was wet and my clothes were not only wet but permanently stained. In lunc,h the sluts, dropped all their food on me and when I say all I mean ALL. 3 plates of food and 3 drinks spilled all over me. I went to the office to get loaned clothes and shoes. You would not believe what they did after school. Well not actually after school, but when the bell ring I couldn't move. I don't know how but they glued me to the seat!!! The teacher had to call in the staff to get me removed.

I have had a week of nonstop bullying and embarrassment. Marlene and Jay have supported me through it tho. They came up to me and the three got a hold of me and started hitting me. At this point I was afraid of them. I didn't speak up anymore. I was a gazelle in a cage filled with coyotes. In lunch, Leslie announced to the entire school that I slept with a different guy every single day. It was finally, time to go home. This time I walked alone, I couldn't find Jacob so I just walked home alone. I walked into my house and started watching YouTube videos on my laptop. In days like this I just want happiness. I was laughing when suddenly my phone beeped, making me jump.

It was a text from Jacob

I opened the text message reading it in pure shock.

From: Jacob

Hey Melissa! I just wanted to tell you something. Your probably gonna hate me but I want you to know I've always loved you more than a friend but I can't anymore. I can't deal with the embarrassment you brought me. I am sorry. I hope you can understand. I still love you tho. Please understand.

Jay was what I used to call him. His friends called him Jake but I called him Jay. I can understand, but if he did "love me" he would've not said that and he would've stayed by my side.

To: Jacob

I understand

*5 minutes later*

From: Jacob

Really?! I love you so much thank you!

To: Jacob

I understand your a real dick! Thanks for making me realize falling for you was the stupidest thing in the world. Just don't ever fucken talk to me again bitch. Your just another heartless dick!

*2 minutes later*

From: Jacob

Hold up! U liked me back??

To: Jacob

Of course you jerk! Just shut the fuck up you dick! Fuck you! Stay away from my life! Ok?

*no answer*

This was it. My life is turning into hell.

I then logged into Facebook after a long time of not being on and noticed a picture of Jacob and Leslie making out.

"What the actual fuck?!" I yelled. I was now crying. My best friend gave me up for my enemy. I was done with the pain. I was done with everything. I always saw people on YouTube being happy. So that was it. My first YouTube video was born!
