Greetings peasants! Hahaha. Just kidding.

Or am I?

Anyways, welcome to my story! This will be my second official story on Wattpad. (My other story is called 'Finally Found You' and is a One Direction Fanfiction-for those of you who are a fan or are fanfiction readers, you are welcome to check out my other story!)

BUT, since I don't really believe in advertising my stories, go check it out.

Just kidding. Haha. Anyway, I got the inspiration to write this story when I went to a family reunion , and I met and watched over my little 4 year-old cousin Tyce. He was the most adorable little thing, and I couldn't help but to be inspired by him to wrote this story. I hope you enjoy my story, and I look forward to your response! Thanks for reading! xx

Chapter 1

Logan's P.O.V.

The engine roared and the car wheels screeched as I jerked the wheel to the left, causing me to drift. Once there was a sudden stop, I shifted and looked at the open road ahead of me. A pure five miles of nothing but straight road.

Maybe this really was my day.

I leaned a little further down into my seat, and fixed my black Ray Bans. Staring carefully at the road ahead of me, I teased the gas pedal, and heard the responding rough purrs of the engine.

Perfection.

Smirking, I shifted once more and floored it, nailing sixty miles per hour in less than five seconds. Advancing, I shifted, reaching speeds of higher than a hundred.

The dead shrubs and few trees along the side of the road became a blur as I narrowed in a good one hundred and thirty miles per hour.

Beat that, Eric.

I could see the end of the road where the three worn down, slanted dead end signs-sort of-stood there. Lowering my speed a little, I shifted before jerking the wheel sharply to the left, causing me to yet again drift.

The stop was smoother, causing me to have a little mini-celebration. But my celebration was cut short as the sound of a phone ringing filled the car.

I glaned over at the Samsung Galaxy S lll that was ringing in the passenger seat. Picking it up, I quickly took in the contact, and clicked answer.

"Dad. What a surprise."I said sarcastically.

"Hi, Logan."My Dad said, a tone that said thanks-for-the-morning-greeting. "We were just calling to see if your device is functioning and working well."

"Ah, we?"I asked, toying around.

My father's voice became a little nervous. "Uh, yes. We. We, being the office, checking in to see how your device was working."

"Well, it's working great! It's just fine."I said, painting my voice in fake enthusiasm.

There was a pause before my Dad spoke again, "Well, that's good to hear. See, the phones will be out on the market this afternoon, and-"

Blah, blah, blah. That's all it ever sounded like to me. And that's all it ever was to him. Business. Just business.

And only business.

"Look, Dad, let me help you out here. You know that you would rather be selling these phones to get money for it, and I would rather be drifting in my new camaro. So, let's just cut the chase. To everyone in the office, it's working great. Reception is amazing, there is not a thing wrong with the apps, and the phone is light and mobile. Great as always. Keep up the good work."
