"Get up, you're going to be late for school," my mother shouts from our 'cozy' living room. We are a poor family you can say. We don't have much money but my mom still worried about my education. Just because we don't have much money doesn't mean we can't in the future, my mom always says. Putting that on hold, I rushed out of my bed and grabbed clothes that smell decent from my hamper. I pull a Rush t-shirt over my head and some shorts onto my waist. After a quick scrub of my teeth I scurry down stairs to find my mom. She hands me a granola bar ready for me to take on my way to the bus stop. I smiled to my self when I saw this because she was always doing nice stuff like this for me. I race to the bus stop to find my friends waiting on me. Linsey smiles broadly when she sees me and turns to the others to announce my arrival. When I reach them I start talking with them. I wouldn't say I'm popular, except around them. I was usually ignored by everyone else in the school. Other than my group of 7, I was an out cast. A few minutes later, the bus arrives. I hop on trying to get in the back. My friends follow and are all around me. Jena and Deric take their place next to me and Lacy, Lynsey and Arnold sit in from of us. Many uneventful minutes pass before I see a speeding car behind the bus. My friends and I twinge as the rubber tires burn against the concrete making a loud screech. Suddenly I start to worry. The car doesn't look like it's about to stop. Faster than lightning, the car tails us with unimaginable force. The bus slides on the concrete almost 30 feet before it finally stops. Tons of the kids in the front look shaken up, but then I saw the back quarter. Manny of the kids look like they hit their heads and I even saw a kid with a clearly broken arm. Then I looked at my self. I was bleeding all over due to glass shattering from the windows. Of corse I had to be the one to get the direct hit. I notice I am on the ground and starting to become very dizzy. I look at nothingness as my vision faded into darkness.
🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕 I hear a slight beeping noise as I regain conciseness.
"It's all right sweetheart," a man said to me. He looked strange to be a ambulance doctor. Instead of the cliche lab coat he had on a black suit and a ski mask.
"Look I can take care of my self, thanks. I need to get back to school, I have a very important historical exam today and I don't want to miss it," I said sitting up.
"I can't take you anywhere. Especially not the school. To many people make me uncomfortable. You're mine now anyway so just sit back and relax."
I was his now? What was that supposed to mean? All I knew for certain was that I had to get out. At the next stop we made, I jumped out of the bed and tried to open the doors. I felt a pair of strong hands grab my waist, pulling me back. At that point I was certain. I was being kidnapped.
