Chapter 1

"Isn't it pretty?" Heather, the mother of both Arabella and Kate asked as she sat crossed legged on the couch, sitting in between her two daughters pointing at the house.

"It's big." Arabella commented with a soft shrug, before glancing back at her phone waiting for a text, "Have you already bought it?"

Heather nodded excitedly eyeing her daughter, "It's gorgeous isn't it?!" She spoke loudly smiling at her with such enthusiasm. Arabella frowned, she didn't understand why her mother got so excited over these things. They were just moving . . . again. It was like any other time they moved, they would buy a fabulous large house and hope for the best.

Kate grumbled beside the pair rolling her eyes, "I'm not moving. I'm staying here. I like - I love it here mom!" Kate argued back.

A soft sigh escaped her mothers lips, "We have to move, Kate. You'll make new friends and you'll enjoy it so much better, I promise." The second oldest of the Wayne family rolled her eyes yet once again before standing up and exciting the room, grumbling something under her breath. With that, Arabella stood up scrolling through her phone.

"See ya, mom. I'm going out." She spoke before speed walking towards the door and closing it behind her.

Arabella's thoughts drifted away from the random memory as she laid in her bed starring up at her ceiling, the soft music played in the background as she sighed heavily flipping over onto her stomach. She'd woken up a good thirty minutes ago, but refused to get out of bed just yet. The comfort her blankets gave made her feel warm; she had put it into her brain that if she just continued to lay there for another ten minutes or so she'd fall back to sleep. Though she had thought that a while ago and sleep had yet to over come her. Another heavy sigh escaped her lips, as she yanked the blankets off her, the cool air from her room brushed against her legs as she swung them over the side of the bed.

She starred blankly at the wall before her bare feet touched the ground and she walked over to her dock, changing the song to another relaxing tune. Looking at Arabella you would think the girl was into something more hardcore, but she enjoyed peaceful, indie type music. Even though she wouldn't mind listening to a little heavy metal, chill, indie music was what she loved. Nibbling on her bottom lip she went to the window and sat on the window seat starring out. The window seat happened to be her favorite part of the room, not only could she sit there and enjoy a good book, or browse the Internet, but the view was beautiful.

The Wayne family happened to live on a mountain top, and right below was a beautiful cliff with scattered rocks and just a bit below that was the ocean. Perks of living in Washington was that you were surrounded by mountains, and the fact that she could live on the mountains amazed her. Yet, she actually found it rather annoying that her parents had bought all the land that came along with it and as much as she loved the house, she did wish they lived closer to the town.

Their house was just fifteen minutes outside of the town in the middle of nowhere, which meant Arabella would have to drive herself and her sister to school, which also meant that the two would have to wake up at least twenty minutes before to make sure that they made it to the town in time enough to get to the school. The thought quickly slipped her mind, as she reached to open the window and starred out at the ocean. Listening to the waves crash against the shore, it reached her ears and her eyes drifted shut before snapping back open, her attention flickering to her phone where it vibrated against her night stand.

School. The Wayne family had moved into their new house a week ago and the family wanted to get everything sorted out at home before allowing their daughters to go off to school, but today was the day. The first day of school for Arabella and she was not excited. She was ready to graduate, she wanted to be a senior, she was ready to throw her cap into the air and head off for college. Yet, she was only a junior awaiting one more year in the educational hell hole.
