Chapter 2♥

"Wake up.......Get up......get up now deeyona" ma yelled as she banged on my door. I usually liked mondays but so far this is not how I wanted it to start.

"Dee!......Deeyonaaa!" she continued to bang on the door.

I sat up in my bed checking the clock that read 7:54am
. I was running a little late but I didnt care.

I inhaled and exhaled deeply dragging myself out of bed. I snatched the door open watching as my mom stumble a bit but quickly catch herself.

"Im glad you finally got yo' big lazy ass up now get ready.... and I need you to take prince to school he missed the bus........"

I slowly nodded dismissing her fat comment.

I started closing my door but was stopped by her hand

"....and take this... pick up yall something to eat" she said throwing five dollars in my face

I didnt ask where she got It from cause I honestly didnt need to know considering that she doesn't work anymore and I seen quite a few guys in and out of here lately . But I don't know what five dollars was going to do for me and him . Not that I needed it but I grabbed the money any way and proceeded to get ready for school.

I didnt have much time but I still managed to take a quick shower making sure my lady parts were clean. I put on some gray UGG boots, lightly stone washed jeans, white long sleeve shirt and a grey Northface jacket. After doing my hygiene I finger combed through my mid long curls to tame them a bit. After glancing in the mirror one last time I grabbed my bag and left out my room.

"Prince you ready bub?" I asked peeping in his room.

"Awmost" he said running around his room grabbing his black timberlands and his coat. I buy everything for my brother.... well at least as much as my check will let me.

"Here...." I put down my bag and walked over to him helping him with his shoes.

"Dee you okay?"

"Yea ....why you ask that bub"

"Cause I heard mama yell at you this mornin' like she always does"

"Well..."

"...your not leavin' again are you" he cut me off. For Prince to be only six he was a smart six year old, and i mean really smart.

I stopped tying his shoe and sat down on the floor looking  up into his big brown eyes. 

"No bub... I'll never leave you again.  no matter how much she yells at me, even if I have to bring you with me I'll never leave you again.....okay?"

"promise? " he held out his little pinky

"I promise.." I said as we locked pinky's

"..now lets go if you want to eat before we go to school"

He grabbed his ninja turtle back pack and followed me out the door.

I pulled into the nearest gas station. "Okay come on bub" I said taking the key out the ignition.

"But can't I just stay here?" He asked scooting down in the passenger seat.

I looked at him for a second before my eyes traveled to a group of guys huddled outside of the store. One guy in particular caught my eye, he was tall with a masculine build, Carmel skin tone , with a fresh fade and a perfect line up around his well grown beard. He had a diamond necklace hanging around his neck as he stood with the type of cockiness as if he knew he looked good, and I can't lie .... He did. He glanced back at me and a smirk approached his face. I quickly snapped out of it and turned my attention back to Prince.

" No you can't stay, now come on and make it quick we already late" I said hopping out the car. I could hear him blowing his breath before he climbed out after me.

Once we grabbed something to eat we headed back out towards the car.

"AYOOO DEE...." I looked back to see where my name was being called from and of course it was from the of dudes that was outside the store . I ignored it and continued towards the car.
"I HEARD THAT PUSSY WAS UP FOR GRABS... LET A REAL MAN HANDLE IT BABY" then a roar of laughter came from the group , I skimmed through the group recognizing a familiar face. It was one of Major's friends. He has always tried to get at me but due to him being one of Majors minions that always held him back.

My eyes flowed through everybody in the group until I seen the same guy who caught my attention earlier. He smiled at the stupid remark and shook his head looking down at his feet. I quickly grabbed Prince hand and got in the car.

"Dee what's a pussy?" Prince asked looking at me.
I looked at him not knowing whether to laugh or prompt him.

" Its nothing you need to be worried about right now and don't let me hear you say that again "

"Fine then " he said with an attitude as he stuffed his face. I put my car in drive and off to school we go.
