A/N: This is a oneshot. This is my first time writing, so feel free to give me advise or make requests for other stories. I hopefully won't have any mistakes, because I'm a bit of a grammer nazi. I decided to write this because I saw a couple comments on another story about how it would be different if someone wrote a story where the characters weren't in love at the end. Sorry that the reader is a girl! I don't have anything against homosexuality, I just didn't feel like writing 'they' so much, so I chose a gender. So... story time!

(3rd person view)
(y/n) had a huge crush on Castiel, an angel. She'd been hunting with the Winchesters since her parents died in a car accident a few months ago.

Sam an Dean were at a bar, celebrating their little bit of time off, and (y/n) was stuck in the bunker. Alone. She decided to watch a movie. Her favorite is Monty Python and the Holy Grail, so she found the dvd, and slid it into the disc drive on her laptop. (y/n) didn't have a TV in her bedroom, but she didn't want to leave the warmth of her bed either.

She didn't really want to watch alone, so she prayed to Castiel. He appeared in the room a few minutes later.

"Hey, Cas! I'm gonna watch a movie. Wanna join me?" (y/n) asked.

"Sure. I dint have anything better to do." the angel agreed and sat down on the bed next to (y/n).

She blushed when the mattress dipped down, and she slid ever so slightly closer to the angel. He, on the other hand, didn't seem to notice. When they got to the killer white rabbit, (y/n) couldn't keep her secret any longer. She paused the movie and turned to the angel beside her.

"I'm sorry, Cas, but I just really need to get this off my chest." She stopped to think of the best way to say it. Castiel looked a little confused, and tilted his head, but stayed silent.

(y/n) decided to just get it over with, telling herself not to be to broken up about it if he rejected her. "Castiel, angel of the Lord, I am in love with you." She mentally snickered at how she called him by his full title.

"(y/n)... I'm not sure how to tell you this... I'm sorry, but I don't love you in that way. I just think of you as a friend." Cas said it quietly, hoping you wouldn't be upset.

"Ok then. I kind of saw that coming." (y/n) replied, straining her voice and trying not to let her pain show.

"Would you like to finish the movie?" Cas asked, tearing (y/n) out of her thoughts.

She sighed and sniffed once, "yep." She said it briskly as a single tear slipped out of her eye, then hit the space bar with a surprising amount of force. Just before then end of the movie, (y/n) dosed off on Castiel's shoulder. He closed her laptop and put it on the dresser, laying her head gently on the pillows. When she woke up, he was gone.

A/N I hope you all enjoyed it! Sorry it's so short, I couldn't really think of much else to put in the story. I don't think I made any mostakes, but feel free to let me know if I did. Happy New Year, dear readers!
