All I have ever known in my life is that my father hid me away as a child. I have never seen him since, however I seriously doubt that he's alive.
I have come to know my new father as a doctor who has raised me well and lead me to a path away from everyone else. I have been told that I am different and he would have me home schooled, I'm not sure why.
I am 17 years old now and I want to take life on my own and do what normal teenagers do.
"Hey David" my friend Nathan calls.
"As a 17th birthday present me and the boys have organised for us to go to a bar down town" he explained.
I thought about it for a moment but my answer was certain.
"Of course I'll go" I say excited.
(Later)
My friends I have come to know are Nathan, Henry, Ryan, Ewan and George. My father allowed me to go out and meet people when I was fifteen and they seemed to accept me into their group. My father however thinks we are playing football right now.
We approach the bar and the bar woman asks me to take my hood down because it intimated her.
"Why should I?" I reply, trying to be cool around my friends.
"You're too young to even buy a drink you little cretin!" Some guy next to me says.
"What's it got to do with you anyway?!" I say in a cold voice, trying to sound tough. He said nothing after that.
(Smash)
The guy had gotten a glass bottle and hit me across the head with it.
The pain came but began to fade as I feel an intense painful rage overcome me.
"Look at him, he's gonna cry" the man said.
I looked up at the man with my now blue, rage full eyes and grabbed him by the throat.
"...My turn" I say in a deeper, more sinister sounding tone. I pick him up and throw him across the room along with his friends. The police came within a matter of minutes. By that time my temper had begun to die down. The police interviewed me.
"Age?" was the first question.
"Seventeen" I replied.
"Address?" was the second question asked.
"27 Bradley lane" I replied.
"Name?" Was his final question.
"Jekyll... David. Jekyll" I replied annoyed.
