Chapter 8

*Jack's P.O.V*
When we opened the door to Sophie and Molly, I think both me and Charlie were shocked to see them there. But I was looking forward for them to come down town with us but then Molly went home which is a let down. I really want to Charlie to ask Sophie cause then it will get his mind off Molly then I won't feel so bad for liking her. But he don't know that I do. I think he just a thinks I being a supportive friend. And that sort of stuff but it would be good for him to get his mind off Molly. Sophie must like him too otherwise she wouldn't have bothered coming round today. Yeah anyway... While we waited for the other boys we decided to watch Mrs Browns Boys.
We watched about 3 episodes before the rest of the boys arrived. "Yeah Sams coming into town with us" I said to them "alright cool. Hope you don't mind sitting around for us" Neil said to Sophie "nah it's fine. But I have to find something too" "Yeah alright" "If you want, you boys can go in one shop I'll go in another and I'll text Charlie and we can meet up for Lunch?" "Nah it's fine. You wait for us, we will wait for you. Deal?" "Yeah deal" they shook hands and laughed. "Shell we leave then?" Charlie said. We all nodded. We put our shoes on and left.
I walked slower behind with Sophie.
(S:Sophie J:Jack)
J: You alright?
S: Yeah you?
J: Yeah not bad. Do you know why Molly went home?
S: No she just said she couldn't stay here because it was awkward for her and Charlie. So she left
J: Oh, could you give me her number please? I wanna speak to her
S: Yeah. 07427384169
J: Thanks!
S: welcome. Are you sure I'm alright coming with you lot?
J: Yeah, we need a girls imput for a suit
S: If you say so. You lot can help me find something then too
J: Yeah why not. Come on, we better catch up with them.
*Sophie's P.O.V*
It was nice of them to let me stay and Jack was being really nice.
We arrive in town and went into a suit shop. They all found one they liked and went to try them on.
The first person that came out was Charlie. He had a blue blazer, skinning black trousers, a white shirt and a blue tie. Not gunna lie, he did look really good. "What do you think Soph?" "Wow, it looks great apart from one thing" I went over to him and sorted out his tie as it was wonky. "There you go. Perfect!" He gave me a little grin, next thing I knew, he kissed me. I was in shock. I heard the other boys gasp. We both pulled away "I'm sorry" I didn't really know what to do or say. I grabbed my bag and ran out the shop. I went into a different shop to find something for me, just to get away from the boys. I found a dress, it was a turquoise colour that came the length of my knees, with the shoulders and neck bit see through with gems over it. It was in the sales for £20. So I grabbed that one and tried it on. It was so nice, I brought that one. I walked out the shop to find Jack running up the middle of the road. I walked faster into the shopping centre. I could here Jack shouting my name but I just kept walking. I went into Primark, I needed to go in there anyway. Jack was still following me "Soph, please just wait" so I did. "Look, Soph, please just come back with us, Charlie's sorry" "No its not that, its the shock of it. I can't go back!" "Why!?" "Because, I dunno. I just can't" "Please Soph!" "Fine! Just let me grab some stuff from here first, go to McDonald's. Here's some money get me a small chips and a chocolate milkshake. And wait for me there" "okay, thankyou!" Jack walked off and I grabbed what I needed from Primark. But all I could think about was Charlie, I think I like him
