It is Sunday, June 22ed and it is blazing hot outside. Almost all the shops in town are open. Faith woke up in her room. She walked into the bathroom to grab her mint toothpaste and toothbrush. She brushes her teeth and then looks into the mirror. Faith turns on the cold water and splashes her face with it. Out of the corner of her eye, she notices a red envelope sitting on the counter. Faith grabs it and opes it to see a cat in a hat. Faith opens it up to read it under her breath.
"Happy Birthday to my new friend. -Levy"
Faith smiles and walks over to her closet. She slowly examines all of them, and then grabs the white shirt that reads "OKAY" and puts it on along with black shorts and a black beanie. Then skips to the kitchen to start the coffee. Faith puts the card on the counter. "To late." a voice said from behind her.
Rex was sitting down on the couch drinking coffee. The mug was red and black with a skull in middle with wings on the side of it. Faith pours herself a cup and puts a lot of sugar in it. They sit down on the couch watching cartoons. Rex doesn't really like cartoons but he watches it for Faith.
"Hey Rex, I'm going shopping!" Faith shouted," Do you want to come?"
"Sorry I can't I promised Fionna and Sarah that I would help clean up there place. Apparently the party last night made a bigger mess than expected. Maybe next time."
They sat and watched TV for another 30 minutes before Rex left. Faith grabbed her bag and left the apartment.

Booths lined the streets. The sound of the People and venders commuting filled the streets along with the different fragrances. The last little shop that Faith walked up to was a small little outside shop. They sold different fruits and vegetables. They were arranged by color. Faith was looking at the apples and strawberries. Then she got tapped on the solder. Faith jumped scared of what tapped her. She sees a tall muscular guy with blond hair. "I noticed that your in Fairy Tail!" The young man says.
"How did you know!" Faith puzzled
"The black Fairy Tail logo on you right solder."
"I feel dumb!!"Faith chuckled "Hi I am Faith Makay!"
"I'm Sting from the saber tooth guild." They shook each others hands.
"I heard that two new members joined the guild! I want to know if they are strong."
"I don't know!"
"Do you know where I can find them!"
"Well I joined Fairy Tail a week ago along with my friend Rex!"
Stings jaw dropped and then laughed "Well I guess they let anyone join now!"
Faith grabbed his arm and stands behind him twisting his arm behind his back. He stopped laughing. "Oh! I didn't see this coming!"
Faith looks at his muscular arms and sees he is not wearing a shirt only a jacket. She steps back releasing his arm. Her cheeks turn bright pink. "Oh-I-m-sor-ry!" she tries to say.
"No its fine, "then he starts talking to himself, "I cant hit a girl." he scratches his chin.
"What why does guy want to hit me!" Faith thought.
"Well are you here with this Rex guy?"
"Why does he want Rex!" then she spoke"No I'm here by myself!"
Sting looks up to see the sun setting. The sky was purple an pink and the temperature has dropped drastically. "Well its getting late I got to go!" sting walked away.
Faith picked out a red and yellow apples and some strawberries and started walking home.

"Should I take this short cut?" Faith thinks "yeah I guess so Rex is probably worried!"
Faith walks down this dark alleyway, taking the short cut. Faith stopps walking.
" I swear I herd something." Faith continues walking.
A sound of footsteps echoed in the ally. Not just Faiths but another. Faith starts to run as fast as she could. The sky was dark and she couldn't see anything. It being pitched black caused Faith to trip over a unknown object. She lands on her stomach with both arms extended forward. She turns over onto her back. "Who is that!" Faith yelled when she noticed the outline of a person!
The person didn't move when Faith reached for her bag. She grabbed her cell phone and turned on the flash on and pointed it at the person. "STING!" Faith shouted.
Sting helped Faith up. "You fell!" sting commented.
"Thanks for stating the obvious, but why were you following me?"
"Well I couldn't let you walk home by yourself."
Faith started to blush, "Then why couldn't you just ask me?"
"I donno!"
"Well my Cat is probably worried about me! so I need to get home." Faith stated" So bye I guess"
Faith started walking. "Hey im going to walk you home." Sting admitted, catching up to Faith.
For a minute they walked in complete silence. Out of no where Sting started to chuckle. "What are you laughing about?" Faith questions.
"Well,"Sting pauses and puts his hands in his front two pockets and shrugs "You said your cat is worried."
"Well to be technical Rex is a exceed!" Faith replied
Sting looks at Faith and laughed out loud. Faith saw the tears fall down his face. The street lights allowed some light." I also have a friend that's a exceed, his name is Lector."

Faith walked inside. "Thank you for walking me home!" Faith says standing in the door frame.
Sting casually looked inside and saw the birthday card. "Happy birthday Faith." He said walking away.
The cold air brushed her cheeks. She walks into Rexs room and hears him snoring. Faith giggles and closes the door. She walks to her bathroom that is attached to her bedroom. Then she turns the hot water and gets in the bath.

Faith gets out of the bath. She has a blue towel rapped around her body. She opened the door and screamed. Natsu and Happy where in Faiths bed sleeping."Good thing they are heavy sleepers." Faith Yawned
Faith grabs her blanket and goes into the living room and sleeps on the couch.
