She was breathing hard, sweat poured down her face but she didn't care.

Her head was in the game, her mind on one thing and one thing alone - taking down the burling man in front of her. He had pissed her off and he was going to feel the pain very soon.

He was also panting. No one had ever, and i mean EVER, lasted so long in a fight against her. After all, she was the great Viper. The street fighter that most feared at the mention of her name or were an adoring fan of hers who took the time to come watch her fight. There was no in-between. Opponents usually didn't last more than 15 seconds with her but this had been going on for about 2 minutes now.

The crowd was stunned into silence as their beloved fighter had not yet put this man on the ground.

From the corner of her eye Viper could see people slowly inching towards the betting booth, her thoughts leading that her fans were losing trust that she could take this man down and were instead going to bet against her.

This got Viper's blood boiling.

She refocused on the task at hand with a renewed energy sparked within her.

He. Must. Go. Down.

Her opponent begins to advance on her again, she took this time to smirk as she could see the wheel in his head turning. He attacked in sequence - right hook, left hook, upper cut. Viper dodged and blocked these moves all simultaneously and then retaliated before he could think to do anymore.

Knee to the stomach sent him doubling over, Viper wasted no time and landed two left hooks and finished him off with a roundhouse kick, catching him on the side of his temple. He stumbled back a bit and that was all of the leverage that she needed. She landed blows left and right and finally ended with a headlock.

Her opponent lost consciousness within 3 seconds of being in the hold.

Viper released him and he crumpled to the ground, Viper stood up moving out the way of the paramedics who rushed and took the man out of the arena as the crowd erupts into cheer and people chanting her name "Viper", "Viper".

The speakers announcing her the winner for the night and still the reigning champion of Underground Fighting. The announcer walked to her in the ring and placed a roll of bills in her hand, this fight was $2000 cash prize. Viper beamed as the crowd continued to cheer her name.

She though to herself silently after exiting the ring, heading home and sitting down out on her balcony in her small apartment in the city, smoking and just pondering to herself what would have become of her if she had lost that fight.

Her respect, the adoration and support from all of her fans and reputation would have been shattered.....
