*Carrie up top played by Kelly Gould she doesn't have pink streaks but, I can't photoshop that so...ya*
I walk into the room and I see her. I see the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. She had long dark brown hair with pink streaks running through it. Her eyes were as brown as the Hudson River. I never thought I would see a beautiful girl in person. There were ones in magazines, but they don't compare. They never will. I start to take my seat as the lesson begins. We were on some lesson about grammar but I didn't pay attention. I just stared at her. She is so beautiful. In the next class, I tried to sit by her, but someone beat me to it. And the next. And the next. And the one after that. It was the same girl in every class. I assumed it was her best friend. She too had pink streaks in her hair. But they were fading.
Finally, the lunch bell rang and we were off to lunch. A girl came up to me. She had long brown hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing all blue. "If you want, I can introduce you to her." She said, walking backwards in front of me so she could look at me."Who? " I asked. Was it really THAT obvious that I was staring at her?"Carrie. Long brown hair. Eyes as Brown as the Hudson River. " She said. How did she know I thought that? "Pink streaks." I reminded Her. "So you do know who I am talking about. Well, I can introduce you right now. All you have to do is ask. She offered. I hesitated for a moment, but then asked," Can you introduce me to her?" She smiled." Of Course. "Then she was off to find her. I got in line for lunch and got my lunch. I sat down at a table with the girl who said she'd introduce me to Carrie. " She'll be here any second. Oh, and my name is McKenzie MacBride. " She told me before I could ask."Well, I'm-" she cut me off before I could say my name."Sam McFarland. I know. You may be new hers, but I basically stalk the whole school."She laughed. Then, Carrie sat down."H-h-h-hi." I stuttered. I have never been more nervous in my life. "Hey. McKenzie told me you like me, but I didn't know how much." She started to laugh. I look over at McKenzie and she looked stunned like she thought Carrie was going to say something different. She started to look at me and noticed I was already looking. She opened her mouth to say something, but before she could I got up and left.
McKenzie's POV
I opened my mouth to say I'm sorry but he left. I glared at Carrie. "What?" She asked as if she didn't know. "You complain about being single, but when someone actually likes you, you turn them down." I say in fury. My eyes start to water, but before anyone noticed I got up and left.Sam's POV
"Look, I'm sorry. Ok? I had no idea how she was going to react." McKenzie says as she catches up with me. "I have to go to class." I say trying to walk faster. "You have five minutes." She says trying to make a point. "I thought she liked you too and the way you looked at her....it reminded me of someone. I am so sorry." A tear runs down her cheek. "Why are you crying?" I ask so confused. "Because you thought she was beautiful and she turned you down." She replied. It's like she could read my mind. "It's fine." I say finally cooling down."Thank god because I found someone who likes you. Her name is Leina." She starts to smile."Are you like a matchmaker?"I ask Her because she tried to set me up with Carrie and now this Leina girl."Something like that." She said with a smirk. I think I just made my first friend.
