The cool summer breeze, warm rays of sun glisining across the warm water, warm sand on our feet, and pink, orange, and yellow skies. His soft hand touching mine, just how I like it. Everyone said we were perfect, but I knew we weren't. There was something about this relationship everyone thought was ment to be, but spirits knew that we were not. As we walk down Silver Beach in St. Joseph, on the coast of Lake Michigan, the sun is setting like a perfect evening. The beach was vacant, no one was there. Not a bird chirp. Something strange was going on, and I don't think we were the only ones who noticed it. In the distance we see a couple running down the beach towards us. As they got closer we noticed the lady was crying. The man was happy. Why? When they reached us we asked what was wrong, they were engaged. He asked her for marrage on the pier. How sweet I thought. Connor did it that way. I loved it. I love when I see someone purpose where I was purposed at. It just reminds me of us.
The sun was almost down as Connor and I start walking back towards the car. Connor starts the car and we start our journey home to Niles, or so I thought. As we come up to an unfamiliar street corner I ask where we are going. He said just wait and you will see soon enough.
