Sold for Lust(SASUSAKU)

My Simple Life

                Sakura woke to the sun shining through her window. Getting out of bed and washed she slipped into her pink dress and placed her white apron over it. Checking to see if her father was in his room to see if he was still sleep, Sakura grabbed her basket to gather some eggs from the hen house.

           After grabbing a few she went back into her medium sized forest set house to start breakfast. Making fresh scrambled eggs and toast, Sakura set the table for two. She then decided that it was time to wake her father before his breakfast got cold.

          *SAKURA*

                 "Father. Father it's time to get up before your breakfast gets cold." I gently shook my father who then opened his light browns eyes and looked up at me. "Good morning my dear Blossom. My it's a beautiful morning." He stretched his arms and ruffled his hands through his auburn hair that fell to his shoulders. "Yes indeed it is father but it won't such a good morning if you don't get down stairs for breakfast." I said crossing my arms as my father slightly chuckled. "Alright alright I'm going." I walked back down and he followed. As we ate my father told me that he had work tonight at the local tavern in one of the kingdoms. He never tells me which one and never brings me along for when we need supplies.

           After breakfast father went out get cut some wood while I tidied up house which of course never takes long. Once finished I grabbed my hooded cloak and basket to pick berries. As I walked the sound a wolf howling was heard. Turning my head I saw the wolf starring at me. It crouched down as it was to attack me but I stood there frozen on spot. Before it could pounce I took off running with the wolf on my trail. I was making good distance til I had tip and fell over. I was struggling to stand up but once I did the wolf was waiting. Without hesitating the wolf pounced and knocked me back to the ground. Though instead of gnawing at me it proceeded to lick me all over my face. "Okay okay Taiki you win now let me up." I laughed as he finally let me up.

        Taiki the wolf is my friend. I met him once while just taking a stroll in the forest. He had struck by an arrow and for while wouldn't let me take it out. Showing courage I took it out and used my power of healing to heal where the arrow had hit and stop the bleeding. After that he has been by my side though I can never take him inside the house. We continued with our stroll on the forest path and Taiki would help me pick berries. Soon we came to a clearing where there was a lake that was surrounded by flowers. Taiki always checks around it to make sure it would be safe for me. You see father really doesn't like for me to be out so long and always makes me wear my cloak. I'm never sure why and he never tells me. When Taiki signaled me that it was ok I took off my cloak and Taiki proceeded to turn around so that I could undress.

          I made slow strides into the water though it was never cold and Taiki sat and kept watch over me like he always does. I was enjoying my time til Taiki snapped his head to the right and got into his protective stance. Quickly I got out of the water and fully dressed myself. My hooded cloak was the last thing I put on and grabbed my basket. Taiki and I then made a run for it back down the path and to my home. When we felt that we were safe we then decided to just walk back. "Th-thanks Taki." I patted his head and he licked my hand as a sign that I was welcome. My home came into view and it was time for Taiki and I to part til tomorrow. I placed my berries on the table and started to make dough to put the berries in for a pie. My pie was in the oven so I decided to sit and read while I wait for father to come back.

     "Sakura! Sakura! I'm home." Hearing the sound of my father's voice I quickly put my book down and opened the door to see him not only with the wood but with the meat for dinner. Cooking the meat over the fire I ask my father had he found anything interesting while in the forest. "Well I did find something I that you'll like." He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a small smooth white stone. However the small stone was shaped just like a heart. "Oh father I love it! Thank you!" I hugged my father tightly and took it upstairs to my room. I started to take some supplies that my father had gotten me. At the top of the heart I took a nail and a hammer and slightly tapped it so that a hole would be formed and careful not to break it entirely. Making sure that it was big enough I then took some needle and thread to make a necklace. I ran back down to show father. "It looks beautiful Sakura. Here let me put it on you." I handed it to my father and he gently place it around my neck. 

             "So how does it look father?" I asked as I turned around to get his approval. "It looks beautiful though of course you can me anything you wear beautiful." I hugged my father again. 

            Looking out the window I saw that the sun was setting which met that father was getting ready to head to the tavern for. I handed him his cloak and and a slice of pie. I then bid him farewell from the door. The kitchen had been cleaned and I was very tired. Changing into my nightgown I climbed into my bed with no worries of anything happening since I knew that Taiki was watching from the outside. To me this was the life sweet and simple. Just Taiki and my father was all I would ever need. This is my prefect yet simple life and I couldn't ask for anything more.
