Thanks everyone for reading. This is my first Undertale fanfiction, and I have no clue how people are going to react to this. Please give me some constructive criticism! This is supposed to help me gain some skill in writing. Thanks!

Long ago, two races ruled over earth; HUMANS and MONSTERS.

One day, war broke out between the two races. After the long battle, the humans were victorious.

They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell.

Legend has it those who climbed Mt. Ebott never returned.

Yellow.

Yellow was the first color that you remember seeing.

No memory of what happened before you got here.

Where is HERE, exactly?

"Ugh, my head," you groaned. You rubbed your head, as you attempted to sit up. You look at the ground, still trying to rub the pain away. Am I sitting in flowers?

Yellow flowers lined the area where you had been laying. The patch that you were laying on was the only area that displayed light.

You glanced up, seeing a circle above, vaguely reminding you of a hole. You could see blue at the top of the hole, which reminded you of the sky. I must have fallen down from there. I must be stuck in a hole.

Head still throbbing, you attempted to stand up, and get a glance of the area.

"Hehe~..." You heard sort of a crackly noise. Like a voice, but it sort of echoed. It was somewhat loud, so you could tell that the noise didn't come from something far away.

Intrigued, you stutter, "W-who's there?"

Silence.

Faintly, you could hear something again.

"Hehe~"

You look around, but can't see anything. This was probably because of the fact that that only thing you could see was the flower patch that you were standing on.

"Turn around." It stated.

Heart racing, you turned around, and again found nothing.

"Down here~..." the voice rang out.

You glanced down at the flower patch, and noticed a flower. This flower was nothing like you have ever noticed before.

"Hey there, pal! I'm Flowey. Flowey, the flower!" It said. It was starting to freak you out.

For the first time, you had actually had questioned whether or not you were mentally stable.

"Okay, it's either just me, or I am having a conversation with a talking flower, that has a face. I don't know which of those options I would rather have..." You muttered.

"Oh, silly! Of course you are having a conversation with a talking flower! Have you never seen one before?~" it talked as if the words were flowing right out if it's mouth.

Awestruck, you kneeled down to the flower and listened to it speak.

"As I was saying, I'm Flowey! I'm here to help you get a feel of what just happened to you!" It said.
