I got up this morning to make myself some coffee and to just listen to the sounds of the ocean. It was my favorite part of the day. I was sitting on the roof that practically lies on my neighbor's roof by my bedroom window, enjoying the peaceful morning, until I heard yelling. This was a usual morning routine for our neighbors. This was when I went back inside to hang on the couch with Taylor and Luke for a little bit, before I went to work.

Taylor is my best friend. She has been for years. Her and I always liked the idea of moving to California and my brother, Luke, decided he wanted to tag along. I got downstairs and heard more arguing, but it wasn't our neighbors this time.

"You ALWAYS eat MY cocoa pebbles! You have your own cereal, why don't you eat yours not mine you dick!" The lovely sound of a Taylor in the morning.
"No thanks, I like your cocoa pebbles. Thanks for the offer though." Luke said with a sly little grin and walked off to his room.
"He is SO infuriating sometimes." Taylor said with her head in her hands. I can completely agree. Luke can be a major pain in the ass, but when he wants to be he can be the sweetest guy in the world. Especially for Taylor. They say they hate each other, but they both always have had a soft spot for one another growing up. Luke and Taylor are both too stubborn to admit such things.
"I have to go get ready for workkkkk" I said pouting my lip.
"You have to roll in the dough bud." Taylor said giving me a cheesy smile. I glared at her while walking back upstairs to my loft/ bedroom. I had an hour to get to work, but it doesn't take me five hours to get ready like some of those other girls. I got dressed, straightened my hair like usual, put some light makeup on and I was on my way. I got in my car and headed to work. I worked right down the street at a restaurant, that was by the pier.

Once my shift was over I was driving home. When I got home I went to the kitchen to get something to eat. Taylor was sitting at the counter on her phone, looking more concentrated then ever.
"What are you doing?" I asked giggling slightly.
"I'm trying to get concert tickets" Taylor said not glancing up from the screen.
"What concert?" I asked, taking a bite out of my apple.
"Fall out boy, andddd I got them!"
"Cool, when's the concert?"
"Next week" Taylor said excitement laces in every word.
I almost choked on my apple, "How the fuck did you get them?"
"A couple people were reselling them for cheap, and so I got them" she said shrugging her shoulders. She amazes me sometimes with the things she is able to pull off.
"So what's the plan tonight?" I asked finishing off my apple.
"Well there's a party over at Payton's"
That didn't sound bad, so we agreed and went to our bedrooms to get ready.

A couple of hours later, Luke, Taylor, and I were ready. We got in Taylor's car since she said she would stay sober tonight. When we got to Payton's I stepped out of the car and headed straight towards the party. It had been so long since I had any fun like this, so I was going to enjoy it tonight. I got my red solo cup, downed the contents and started to dance. I was starting to feel the contents of the cup and I couldn't have felt better.

You're not going to feel good tomorrow. I ignored that part of my brain and kept on dancing.

By the end of the night I was pretty damn close to blackout drunk, but hey I thought I was still going pretty strong. Apparently I wasn't because I was now walking straight into a chest. I looked up, and if I were sober I probably wouldn't have stared as long as I did. He was gorgeous. His brown hair put up, slightly disheveled but he could definitely pull it off.  His jawline was the best part, it was so sharp and perfect I just wanted to run my fingers on it.
"Are you good?" He said with a laugh.
I smiled and said, "Yeah, just trying to find my friends"
I think he saw how drunk I was because he was laughing at my words and how I could barely stand.
"I think I'll go find them now" I said wanting to go home and go to sleep in my comfortable bed. I turned around and left the hot stranger behind me, set in funding Taylor. I was looking all through the crowds of dancing people until I spotted her blonde hair that matches mine.
"Taylorrrr, where's Luke I want to go to sleep" I said with a pout.
"I don't know, probably with some hoe" she said with no emotion. I rolled my eyes and grabbed Taylor now finding Luke. We walked all through the house until we found him up against the wall with some girl.
"Luke let's go" I said yelling slightly. I heard him groan and to say leave him there. He is a big boy he can handle himself I thought. So we left him, because frankly I didn't feel like fighting with him tonight anyways. So Taylor and I silently drove back to the house.

We decided to watch a movie since it was just us, and Luke wasn't here to whine. We sat on the couch looking through ridiculous movies, laughing at some. We settled on watching the Hangover.

We laughed through the entire movie, especially me since I was still intoxicated. By the time the movie was over it was early morning, so Taylor and I parted ways. I got to my bedroom, and took off my dress. I barely was under the covers before I fell asleep.

I woke up in the morning with my head feeling like it could explode. I closed my eyes and tried to fall back asleep but that didn't help so I decided to get up and get a glass of water. I walked to the kitchen and Taylor being the wonderful friend she is decided to scream, "HOW ARE YOU DOING LOVE?" With a giggle following. I glared and got my water and Advil and retreated to my bedroom. I made my bedroom dark but the darkness couldn't block out the loud noises of yelling and doors slamming. I laid in my bed waiting for the neighbors to stop. Once I heard more than five minutes of silence, I got comfortable and within minutes sleep found me.

Short but it will get longer I promise.
