TRIGGER WARNING FOR THIS BOOK!
Play by the ghost rules contains some of my experiences with suicide, depression, sexual harassment and abandonment, shown through the main protagonist Mara's past. If this could trigger you in anyway I have warned you. If you continue reading and become triggered at any point in time I want you to be safe and do what you do to coup. Your safety is top priority.

Why and I im the abandoned elementary school house? Who is that guy? His was tall with black hair and blue eyes. His expression cold, and unwelcoming.

Who are you? I turned to face were the voice came from. There I stood standing in the entrance talking to this man.

You need to leave, doesn't the school forbid you to come he... All of the sudden the book shelves began to fall on us.

_______

I woke up with a jolt. "What a horrible dream" I mumbled to my self.

After I sat there for a while, a slight knocking came at my door.

I hopped out of bed and ran to the door. "Oh hey Mr.Jefferson!" I greeted my landlord cheerfully.

"Hi Mara, look its the end of the week and your rent hasn't been paid. Im really sorry about this but you can't live here anymore." He looked truly sorry, after all its my grandma who isn't paying the rent. "Here," he handed me a thick envelope. "Its not your fault so heres some money for a night at a hotel, at least until you can shack up with some friends, but I need your stuff out tonight."

"Ok, I understand." I slowly closed the door and got changed into the jeans and t-shirt I laid out yesterday. Looking up I saw my plain little apartment. I knew one day my grandma would stop paying for it so I didn't bother decorating, and all of my clean clothes would stay in a suit case. Its not like I have very many cloths other than my school uniform.  I guess since I'm packed I'll go for a walk.

______________

The cool fall air stung my skin, I never will understand why I like the cold so much. As I continued to walk, the abandoned school house caught my eye. Why did I dream about this place? I was about to start walking when something inside the school house moved. I tried to think nothing of it but curiosity got the better of me.

Sure enough there stood a man with blue eyes and black hair.

"Who are you? I questioned.

"You need to leave, doesn't the school for bid you to..." I ran at him thinking he could get hurt.

"WATCH OUT," I was able to get him away but sadly the bookcase still came down, and my world went black.

____________

"I, went to a Chinese restaurant, to buy a loaf of bread, bread, bread." Me and my twin sister stopped to laugh with we missed the clapping rhythm.

My mom and dad were laughing about something in the front as we played our game. After a while I got out my playing cards. As I shuffled I thought about my sister. Were twins but different in every way. Lacy still has her natural golden blonde hair, but I had dyed my brown hair so many different colors that sometimes I forget what my real hair color was. She was tan and very popular, however I was pale and a loner. Lacy was ray of sunshine, and I was all doom and gloom.
