Prologue

*(M/n) at 11 years old*

Normal Pov *

You are swimming in the championship. You are in lead of the other schools' swimmers. You reach the end and You hear everyone is cheering. You smile at everyone as you punch the air as you cheer cause you and your team won.

(M/n)'s Pov *

I climbed out and tackled by Nagisa as he shouts " we won! We won, (M/n)!" I chuckle and say " yeah we did , we are an unstoppable team.."  Haruka says" we wouldn't of won without you." I'm shocked at Haruka saying that to me.

I smile and just rub his head. My parents come towards us and my father says" okay I'm let's go celebrate and I will treat you guys." I say " thanks Dad." And hug him. We went to celebrate.

*later on *

My dad took my friends home before going home. We arrived home, my mother says " honey, don't you have something to tell our little boy." I look at her and then at my father. My father bends down on one knee and place his hand on my shoulder as he speaks " (M/n) I have good news and bad news, that I got a new job position and mom is going to have another baby...." I smile and hug him and my mother and say" I'm glad Dad...I'm so happy but what is the bad news?" He sighs and looks at mom as she nods her head. He says" the bad news is that the job position is in New York City so that means that we have to move there. " I asked "when are we moving?" He says " in a week's time"

I look at him in shock. I say" Dad, I hate moving away again from all my friends.." I ran up to my room with tears in my eyes. My mother says" let me go talk with him" She comes up to my room. She enters as she sees me sitting on my bed and comes sit next to me. I don't look at her and say" do we have to move away again mom?" She says " Darling, we have to be together as a family and you know your dad loves his work but he want us with him there when he needs us. I know you don't want to leave your friends again. " I say " Mom , I don't want to move away from them cause it will be hard to make new friends." She nods and hugs me and says " okay (M/n) I will promise you something now that when your little brother is a certain age we will move back, How does that sound? " I smiled and hugged her. I look at her stomach and place my hand and say" is this my little brother? " She nods and says" yes Darling, you will be the big brother that he will look up to you." I hug her stomach and say" I promise to protect you little brother " She smiles and says" okay I'm going downstairs to make your favourite cookies" she gets up and I say " Mom can I have pocky sticks? " she raises an eyebrow at me and say" No (M/n) not this time at night cause remember last time? You kept me up whole night after you had pocky sticks." I make a puppy face as I held her leg as I looked up at her and say" pretty please mom for me and my little brother?" She sigh and say" okay fine, but this is the last time (M/n)" I give a big grin to my mom.

I walked downstairs with my mom and she took me to the kitchen and placed me on the counter as she starts to make the cookies. I look at my dad who was busy on his laptop and on the phone with his work.

*a few days later  *

I went to meet up with my friends at the swimming pool. I smile as I look at how I will miss these guys so much and I hope we don't stay there forever   and move back after my little brother is born or is a couple of months old so they can meet him.

Makoto comes towards me and asked " (M/n) are you okay? " I look at him and say " I'm okay and I'm so happy now" Rin say" really? why? Who made you so cheerful and so happy today?" As he places his arm around my shoulder and rubbed my head. I chuckle and say " Guys, I'm going to be a big brother in a couple of months time." They all tackled me in a hug. Makoto say" Congratulations (M/n). I hope we will get to meet him." I smile and then my smile disappeared as I sigh. Haruka looks at me and asked " what's wrong? " I say " Guys , we moving away cause my dad got a new job position in New York and we are moving there" They all give me a tight hug after hearing the news. I wipe a tear in my eye and says " Guys, I promise we will move back and you will get to meet my little brother or sister. " I hear my parents came to fetch me. I said goodbye to all of them. We went home to pack up cause tomorrow we were leaving. 

* next day *

I finished packing the last of my stuff when my mom calls "(M/n) there someone here for you. " I say " coming mom!" I walk downstairs and see all my friends. I smile and say" hey guys" Nagisa says" we want to come see you before you leave." I smile as I hug them. They give me a necklace with a dolphin on it and Haruka says" this is a necklace to remember us by and we also got your little brother or sister one too. " Rin takes a necklace with a shark on it and hands it to me. I look at them and put my necklace on and say" thanks guys I won't take this off and my little brother will love it. " as I go put it in my bag in a safe place. My Dad says" okay (M/n) we got to be going soon" I nod and hug them as I say my last goodbyes to them. They leave and I go get my stuff. I take my bag and I ran towards the door and look back at the house and whisper " I will be back, I promise." As I shut the door.

*5 years later *

Normal Pov *

Haruka, Nagisa and Makoto are at Iwatobi High School. Nagisa says" Hey guys, are we practicing again today?" Haruka says " yes we are." They go to class. They notice a boy with black hair and green eyes sitting by the window with earphones on his head as he is staring out at the window. Haruka says " that boy...." Nagisa says " he looks like someone we know or knew...." they sit down but keep glazing at him now and then.

*later on *

They are at the swimming pool, busy practicing. Haruka gets out and noticed the same guy they saw this morning. He says" hey guys, I wanted to know where can I sign in to join the Swimming team?" Haruka gets up and says " Okay, you want to join?" He nods and says " yes I would like to " He says " okay show us what you got." He nods and gets undressed until he was left in his swimming trunks. He dived in. They all watched him as he swam. Makoto says" he is good." Nagisa says " yes just like (M/n) years ago." Haruka says " yeah, but there something familiar about this guy...." he gets out and ask " so how was that?" Rei says " that was amazing and if you still want to join..." he says " I still do " Rei says " welcome to the team." As they shake hands. Haruka looks at him and ask " what is your name? " He says " I'm Damian (L/n)" they all nod and introduce themselves to him. Damian nods and go get dressed. Haruka looks at all of them and say" his surname is familiar." Damian comes out and ask Rei " when do we start practicing?" Rei says " tomorrow " Damian nod but then his phone rings. Damian says " hey bro, I'm on my way now see you now "

They look at each other as Damian says " see you guys" he leaves. They decided to follow him. They see a guy leaning against the wall and Damian says " hey bro"

(M/n)'s Pov *

I see my brother, Damian and say " hey little brother,  so how was school?" He says" it was awesome and I joined the swimming team." I smile and place my arm around his shoulder and rubbed his head and say" that's good to hear" I noticed people were watching us as we walked to the car.

Normal Pov *

They look as Damian and his brother leave. Makoto says " I can't believe it, was that (M/n)? " Nagisa says " I think he just looks like (M/n) maybe it's someone else that looks alike (M/n)" Haruka says " we have to see him up close and personal so we can know for sure that it is (M/n) " as he is walking out of the school grounds. Nagisa says " you probably right " and follow after Haruka. Rin looks at Makoto and say " I know that is (M/n) I can see it by the way he was leaning against the wall and by the way he spoke." As they all started to walk out of the school....
