chapter six: ME!

The Ivy Trio stood before me. I wanted to say something but nothing came out. I was trembling with excitement.

"Oh, oh my god. I... I just don't know what to sa-say..." I stuttered.

OH MY GOD ZOELLA, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? INTRODUCING YOURSELF LIKE THAT? ARGH! I've been a big fan of the maze runner trilogy for a long time, I guessed that so many changes were going on, I was just so pre-occupied. And so I just did the most foolish, but the best thing for a fangirl to do. Pulled them into a big group hug. I closed my eyes shut and hugged them for a very long time and my hug probably got tighter by the second as they kept fidgeting and clearing their throat.

I released them slowly and awkwardly, giving a tense smile. I stared at them, waiting for a response. They looked at each other and, as if they rehearsed it, they turned to me and gave me a smile. It just warmed my heart by hugging my favourite celebrities who acted in my favourite book series and them smiling back at me!

"So... Do you want to get lunch? Or maybe just, sit down?" Dylan said as he rubbed his neck gawkily.

"Oh. Yeah. Sure." I sat down, heart beating fast. When everyone was sitting down, there was this tension hanging in the air, so to break the silence I decided to ask, "Who's the fourth person that you were mentioning about?" I looked at Dylan.

Dylan's eyes lit up. "Oh,you're gonna love her. If you like Ki Hong," he said gesturing to Ki Hong as he rolled his eyes. Ki Hong replied, "I'm just sassy like that. I feel sorry for you if you can't feel, see, hear my sass." The boy with the blonde hair snickered. I totally forgot his name, I just remembered he's Newt in the book. His name starts with a 'T'...

"It's true! I think that my sass is too much for you to handle, Thomas," Ki Hong said with his hand put out as if he was stopping him. Thomas! Yes! That's his name! And wait, I'm supposed to know him because...

"Anyways," Dylan glared at Ki Hong as he broke my train of thoughts, "we're still waiting for-"

"ME!" someone yelled from behind me.
