Simon...Careers and Talents....

Zayn's POV

These last few days have been perfect for everyone. Ashley's sister came into town, and her friend too. Ashley is excellent, and I don't think I would have wanted to meet anyone better than her. I think I am starting to like her, and I'm sure that it is a good thing; I don't know how she feels about me, so I am going to hold off on it for a while, although I do want to take her out like a date kind of. I have to get to know her more than I do now. I love when she laughs and giggles, and her smile is perfect. Everything about her is "perfect"- A/N I put quotations because nothing is ever perfect.  We are in a club where she isn't drinking, but her sister and Audrey are beyond drunk. Alana and Niall were dancing on each other, and Audrey- I have no idea where she was. Ashley had attracted her crowd in the VIP section where we were. She stood off to the side, moving to the music, which just reeled me in more to her. She was a fantastic dancer; I've seen some people that can dance, but none that are as good as her. The song ended, and she did a flip into the splits to end her freestyle. "Hey Zayn, I think we should go now; I think Audrey and the rest of the gang have had enough," Ashley yelled over the next song. I nodded, agreeing, seeing it was almost 2 am and Simon was coming to visit around noon the next day. I went to find Harry, Audrey, and Liam; while she went to see Louis, Her sister, and Niall, she dragged them out the door to the car.

After we got everybody together, we took them to the car. Liam helped cause he didn't drink tonight, thank god, because it would have been even more hell to have to allow him to. When everyone was in, we started the car and drove off. Of course, Niall just had to try and yell that he was starving and get everyone else jumped on it, too. We ignored them and kept driving. When we got back to the flat, we got them all inside after Liam got Niall in his bed- we had to carry Audrey and Alana, and Ashley had to drag Harry while he managed to hold onto her. When they were all on mattresses, we got Advil and water and set it next to their beds for the morning. They were most definitely going to need it. Ashley said Alana probably wouldn't even take hers and just drinks the water because she doesn't get hangovers or even remember her nights when she's drunk. That was interesting because if I were as drunk as her, I'd be so sick in the morning. We had to be up by eleven am, and it was going on three am right now. I told Ashley and Liam goodnight, and we all went to bed to get some sleep.

-------------Some odd hours later--------------------------------

My alarm went off at 9:30 so I could wake Ashley to make breakfast. I felt bad to wake her but she asked me to so that we could get them all feed before Simon gets here. I walked in her room to see her sleeping peacefully on the ground...why is she on the ground? I asked myself. She must have not made it to her bed. She was pretty exhausted after getting everyone in last night. I went over and shook her gently to wake her. "Ash wake up we need to make breakfast and get everyone going before Simon gets here at 11ish." "What time is it?" she asked while rolling over facing me. "It's almost ten now." She stretched and sat up and smiled at me. "Morning lets go make breakfast." She grabbed my hand which shocked me and we walked out and to the kitchen. We made waffles, eggs, bacon and just stuck to water for everyone except Alana, Ashley made her coffee cause that's what she needed she said. After breakfast was made and there was food on plates for everyone we went to wake them up. Ashley went to wake Alana and Audrey and I went to wake the rest of the guys. Everyone was easy to wake except Niall and Harry. Even with food Niall was difficult to wake up, I had to go through the whole list of what there was to eat that we made before he even thought of moving. Harry; well he was just stubborn about getting out of bed in general. I threatened to straighten his curls and he yelled at me and was up after that. But I knew he wasn't actually mad at me. That was everyone so I headed back downstairs after I made sure everyone took their Advil and drank their water. When I headed back to the kitchen to get my food Ashley had everyone sat down and eating telling them what to do afterwards. I looked around the table. Everyone had either disheveled bed hair, bags under their eyes from lack of sleep or was slumped in their seats. This is typical after clubbing for us at least I don't know about the girls.

----------------15 minutes later---------------------

Niall had long ago cleared his plate and went to look presentable for Simon, Lou and Liam did the same. Harry was still eating and Ashley and the girls were talking. Ashley was telling Alana about her night last night. Apparently she told Niall she liked him, when Ash told her that her nearly did a spit take and her eyes went wide. I laughed. They always say the truth comes out when you're drunk. "Hey guys, you should go get ready....you don't have to dress up but don't look like a bum either." They nodded and head up to their rooms. Harry got up not long after and followed to do his thing as well as me doing the same for myself. This hair does not style itself like this.  After getting myself ready 25 minutes later I looked at the time to see that it was eleven fifteen, he should be here soon.  As if he was reading my mind I heard a knock on the door as I was heading downstairs. "Guys Simon's here!" I yelled and they were all right behind me and trailed into the living room as I went to get the door. "Hey Uncle Si" I said "Zayn, nice to see you again... how are things?" he asked "They are great sir, everyone is in here...we have some friends over also." I replied He just nodded his head and continued following me into the living room. "Hey Uncle Si!" everyone chorused except the girls. "Hey guys, good to see you again." He responded "Hello Girls, I am Simon Cowell... nice to meet you girls." Ashley stood up first. "Hi, I'm Ashley and I knew who you are already but it is great to meet you." Then Alana and Audrey. "If you guys don't mind we will leave you to your meeting and just be in our rooms." Ashley said I just smiled at her and nodded my head. Simon asked us about the interviews and photo shoots and tours have been going. Asked us if there were any issues with anything and if there was anything we needed to let him know. That was business Simon. For the rest of the meeting we just talked about random stuff. After a few minutes about half an hour into Simon being here we were talking and suddenly he asked us to be quiet for a minute. We did and when we did we heard singing. It was really amazing whoever it was. He got up and we followed him around the flat to find the source. We got to Ashley's door and stopped looking at each other dumbfounded. We didn't know she could sing like that. Audrey joined us and we quietly looked to her for an explanation as well as Alana to. They pulled us away from her room and told us that she is really good at singing and how we inspired her to sing more and more and wants to make it a career eventually. Simon perked up at the mention of career and said that would be possible now. We walked back to the door to continue listening, she was in the middle of a mid- range note in the song.  She was singing "Beautiful" by Mariah Carey as Alana said. The song ended and Simon knocked on her door. I heard her say one second and walk over to the door. She opened it was looked confused as to why were all standing at her door. Lou broke that silence. "THAT WAS BLODDY AMAZING!" he yelled we all just nodded and agreed because it was. Simon asked if he could talk to her for a second he said yes and let him in her room and we followed. "Ashley, as many years as I have been in the music business, I have put together several bands and they have become successful in their careers as you can tell with these boys." He told her "in all those years I have no heard someone in quite a while with a voice like yours, you are very talented... and from what I hear from Zayn here you can dance as well?" She just sat there shocked and blushing. "Yes sir, I guess that's true." She said while looking at me with a smile. "How would you like to come by the studio tomorrow and record a song and get a contract on the boys' label if you would like and they don't mind?" Si said. "Um..." She looked to us for reassurance. We all nodded and agreed to it and that closed the deal. Ashley was on our record label and signed to Syco all on her own. "Great I will see you all tomorrow at ten AM; I am going to head out now...good day boys and girls- congratulations Ashley." "Bye Uncle Si." We all chorused.  After he left we decided to go out and celebrate with getting ice cream and going to the fair in town for the rest of the day. We had management rent it out for us so we wouldn't be bothered.
