Chapter 6

Lauren's POV

Camila [5:09pm]
I think I'm in love with Austin.

My heart stopped. For a second I thought I was going to faint, I felt my heart break into tiny little pieces but I couldn't tell her that. I didn't know if I should be a good friend and be supportive or tell her why I can't help.

To Camila [5:14pm]
What do you need help with?

Camila [5:15pm]
How do I know if I'm in love?

I thought I couldn't help but I could. I knew what love felt like, I could help her. I was in love with Camila, I felt things when I was around Camila that I did not feel when I was around others.

To Camila [5:20pm]
Your heart beats faster than normal when you're around them, it's different when you're with them. You don't notice anyone else in a room, you only notice them. You sort of get insecure around this person, you want to be perfect for them. They're the first thing you think about when you wake up, and the last thing you think about before you fall asleep. You would do anything to be theirs, even if it was impossible; you'd try. Only for that person. They mean the world to you.

Camila [5:23pm]
Wow Lauren, you sure know a lot about love. Are you in love?

To Camila [5:24pm]
Madly in love, always will be, always have been with this one amazing person.

Camila [5:25pm]
Who is it?

To Camila [5:27pm]
You don't know her. It doesn't matter. Now go tell Austin how you feel.

Ally came back into the room with some drinks and snacks and I quickly put my phone back in my pocket. I was hoping she'd avoid the subject but she didn't.
"Did you tell her?", she asked handing me a coke.
"Uhhh... I guess not", I replied
"Why not Lauren? What happened?", she held my hand to comfort me.
"She... She thinks she's in love... With Austin.", I told her.
"Don't worry Lauren, let's get your mind of things. Want to watch a film?", Ally asks me
"Yes please", I smiled, "not a soppy romantic one though please, haha. I don't think I'm in the mood for one of those", I laughed.
