Chapter 20

"Stop trying to deny it Della. There was totes something going on between you and Liam." Kelsey argues.

"Actually no, there wasn't. We're just friends. Besides, I already have a boyfriend, remember?" I fire back.

"Psshhh! Forget him! This is Liam Payne from One Direction that we're talking about!" Kelsey bursts.

I raise both of my eyebrows. "Oh. Well that changes things." I say sarcastically.

"Della! I'm serious!"

"Really? I thought you were Kelsey." I joke, laughing at how easily I can mess around with Kelsey.

"Oh my god." Kelsey rolls her eyes then hops off her bed and exit our 'room' of the tour bus.

Lily and I giggle at how Kelsey handled that.

"It's okay Della. I still think that Liam and you would make a super-cute couple, but I understand that you already have a boyfriend. And it's good that you actually stay loyal, unlike some people."

I smile a little. "Thanks. And I got that reference to Sammy that you made." Giggling, I do an imitation of Sammy. "But NiNi," I whine, " was just warming up my lips for you!"

Lily and I burst into bouts of laughter and then she tries. "Oh NiNi, I honestly thought that it was you!"

"NiNi, you can't break up wiyh me! I need you for publicity!"

"NiNi, I already know that I promised to stay loyal like fifty-thousand times, you don't have to tell me!"

By now, we're laughing so hard that we can't even speak properly.

"Wow," I say once our laughing begins to decrease.

"Man, I think that the months ahead of us are going to be a blast."

"I agree Lil, I agree."

"Oh my gosh, what does the band even do when they're on tour? This is so boring! There's nothing to do!" Kelsey exclaims.

"Geez Kelserz, calm down. And we can ask them when we see them next." I reply, brushing the nail polish brush over my pinky toe. Satisfied with my work, I screw the cap back onto the nailpolish bottle then wiggle my toes a little.

"But we don't know when that's going to be! It could be days! And I can't wait that long!"

"Read a book." I reply indifferently with a shrug. I've been mostly Skyping online with Xenen, working on assignments from the online school I'm enrolled in, or reading. I admit that it can get pretty boring at times, but aye, what else can I do? There's not enough room in here to dance.

"Not helping Della! I need to do something, like dance!"

"Kelsey, there's not enough room in here to dance." Lily points out, causing Kelsey to loudly sigh in frustration.

"It's okay Kels, we'll figure something out." I say.

"Yeah, we will. What do the guys even do in here? I haven't heard them complain even once." Lily wonders aloud.

"Video games," Kelsey grumbles.

"Oh, well that explains things." Lily concludes.

"Hey, we need to stop moping around. I mean, we're on tour with One freaking Direction! We even get to share a stage with them! You both know how competitive it was to get where we are!" I exclaim.

"You're right." Lily agrees.

"So what do you suggest we do instead then?" Kelsey retorts, folding her arms over her chest.
